She's struggling so much to swallow her spit and that makes it even more yucky to watch and listen to her.
I wonder for how long she will still have the ability to swallow, as others have noted its just getting worse and worse.

Wow. I questioned if Ari was bonded with Alex but those videos of her in the crib make it pretty clear that Alex is some loud object that holds a phone in front of her. Clearly Ari does not see her as her mother, caretaker, or playmate. Ari does not smile at Alex or jump up to the side of the crib to reach out to her or "talk" to her. All things that my little one would do if I was in the room. That must chap Alex's ass because she constantly touts how she is such a great disabled mom. Here is an idea, Alex, instead of screeching at your child with a phone in her face put the GODDAM phone down, look in her eyes, and talk to her softly.

Alright, so I'm not a professional chef, but I'm pretty sure you when you cook with wine, it's meant to go into the pan. It also looks like most of the bottle is gone.

Noah’s thighs are SKELETAL in that photo at a park with Ari. I suspect he’s back on the Addies to cope with parenting solo and caring for the rotisserie-chicken shaped millstone hanging from his neck.
Regarding Ari getting up at 5am: there is zero benefit to dragging Alex out of bed too. She can’t help. Her main parenting move is screeching “DADDY!” to summon Noah. She isn’t breastfeeding. She cannot commiserate with real mothers. Sorry not sorry, she just can’t comprehend what it is actually like to be the primary caregiver of a child.
I hope Alex is getting kicked out of Noah’s familial home. Clearly the strain of caring for Ari and Alex has been extremely detrimental to Noah’s health. If he was my child, I would be doing everything in my power to determine the best and most effective way to peel that stanky ratchet bitch off my son. Maybe convincing her that they need to “move out” and getting her stuck in another house without a car is his family’s best chance at exorcising her from their own home.

I want to know if she accepts ANY input from her "cooking assistant" (Noah) or if she expects the full Ratatouille treatment. Like, if he said "I think the noodles are probably done" does she shriek ableism at him? Also, I'm so glad I will never have to eat and pretend to like the stuff she "wings" - that noodle dish looks like spaghetti covered in Sriracha mayo, and I'm worried that legit might be what it is, because it's Alex.

God, I hope not. Even if Noah is managing as primary carer for both mum and bub, staying in his parents house gives him a backup for when he's just not coping. Taking care of an entire place- even just a small unit- would be incredibly stressful for him right now. When he needs to get away from Alex now, all he has to do is walk upstairs; any unit she rent will be one level and open plan, there will be no escape.
Moving out would be a huge mistake. It'd be great if it were just Alex by herself, but Noah is her carer and she also has legal custody, (and if memory serves, Noah isn't even on Ari's birth certificate) I strongly doubt that living separately is an option for him.
I've no doubt that everyone in that house is thoroughly sick of each other, but Noah really needs his family right now. Putting off moving out until Ari starts kindergarten would probably be the best way of doing it.

Just an aside, but Alex mentioning things to help her cook, if she engaged with an Occupational Therapist that's literally their job to help people with activities of daily living. They are the experts on how to help people do day to day tasks, including knowing what equipment is most appropriate.
But whether it's a funding thing or Alex just not seeing the value in it, she doesn't seem to engage with any Allied Health professionals that could improve her quality of life and independence.

The Smiths made him get a paternity test in the time since they have been living with them. They didn't say whether or not this was to update the birth certificate, but I can't figure why else they'd have done that since Ari has his whole-ass face.
I can just imagine Alex trying to stir/check on noodles with a long-handled spoon and flinging boiling water all over herself in the process. She really should be working with an OT but we know she knows best about literally everything, guys.
As far as them moving out, I'm gonna guess it's just Alex blustering because she's stifling under the Smith house rules. I can't see her getting a place, arranging a caregiver, organizing the move. And with what money?? - nah she's just angry at the Smiths about something and is doing a veiled BPD threat.

You can bet grandma and grandpa Smith don’t want to see their beloved granddaughter taken away and left in the care of Alex and Noah. Noah may be stepping up but he’s also got his own problems, including youth, and raising a daughter and being a carer for Alex is too much for him alone. Noah knows it, they know it. The only one who doesn’t is Alex.
Alex can talk all she wants but she 100% dependent on another for her care, feeding, housing. She’s stuck where she is. She should be very grateful she has a nice house and nice people who will love and raise her daughter while she slowly dies. But that would mean facing reality and thinking of what’s best for her daughter and that ain’t happening!

I actually take no pleasure in suggesting that the best thing for Ari would be for her to lose her mom before she's really aware of her. I don't know what to think of Noah; she's obviously bonded with him so he's doing something right but I'm sure it has a lot to do with how much support he's getting from his family.
