Trainwreck Alex Dacy / Alex Dzimtowicz / Wheelchair Rapunzel - 50% wholesome disability influencer, 50% that cash me outside girl

Ari is by far the most cared for bub in all the threads that I personally follow on kf. She looks physically healthy, engages normally with her surroundings, appears to be hitting her milestones and clearly loves her dad. The rash/eczema is a little concerning, but if it's a reaction to something that can't be mitigated, like pollen from a common garden plant for instance, and the rash isn't bothering her, there's no reason for medication.

I have never been so happy to be made a liar in my life. Noah hasn't stepped up, he's leapt up, he's taken all our shit talking and wiped his arse with it. The next challenge will come when Ari reaches the age where she'll want to make friends and establish her own connections, but so far Noah is doing an amazing job; also his family in backing him up and supporting him when he needs it, and letting him fall when he needs to.
I do have to admit Noah and his family gained my respect for coming together to give Ari the best. Plus, somehow, they managed to send Alex off to her own party apartment, where she can do her stupid stuff away from Ari yet still get visiting time.

I am slightly concerned that Ari doesn't have a pediatrician, primarily because of Noah's known opinions on doctors and vaccines, which I am sure he's picked up from his parents. Plus, I've gleaned from the little bits of info over the year, like using a level two bottle nipple on an infant and asking the internet when to wean Ari off formula. I hope I am wrong, but when they have been accused of anything medical with Ari, I would assume Alex would throw it in everyone's faces that the pediatrician said everything is fine. Still, she hasn't posted a single medical growth story since Ari was a month old.

I have never in my life heard of a birthday sash for anybody, much less a baby. Wtf?

As others have said, a one year old party is for parents, grandparents, relatives and the baby gets a cupcake to dive into. In my part of the world, or my circle, it’s traditionally the first time baby gets an unhealthy sugary sweet although I imagine that isn’t true for the fat redditards who pretend their one year olds eat with fork and spoon. But after cake is everywhere, party is over and everybody goes home. Baby might tug on wrapping paper of a gift but parents usually open others later.

As for the tag hanging off her shoe, I recently saw a photo of one of the Kardashians wearing a ballgown with the Balenciaga tag hanging down. Purposely. I hope this isn’t becoming a trend, but leave it to Alex to pick up on it.

Noah is doing an amazing job, I agree. He doesn’t look too happy to be with Alex though.

I like to hope that the pediatrician visits are happening off-camera and that we never hear about them because Alex can't make them into content. We do know that Ari got at least some of her early vaccines. Alex seemed clueless about the whole process, but the way she phrased things (which I no longer remember, but I do think it's in this thread) made me think that she just agrees with what the doctor says, probably without really listening. In this particular case, that's probably a good thing, because Alex can't make good decisions about her own health and wellness, let alone that of a small child.

Today, she clapped back at the haters who complained about the party. I hate to agree with her on anything, but I do on this: the people who fussed about the party were being very overdramatic. Common sense would also tell you (but not Redditors) that Ari's big party wouldn't fall midweek and would likely be on the weekend instead.

She said Ari's first birthday party theme is "wild one," so I'm guessing something related to that.

Anyone else remember Rita on Arrested Development? She wore her clothes inside-out so you could see the tags (which Lindsay thought was brilliant). She was also retarded.

Hahahahaha wtf is going on here? These people are genuinely retarded.
Obviously this is gross abuse, no spoon and NO SASH?! Scarred for life...
Again, not a mom, but I'm not sure I'd want to give a baby a sash. Seems like just the kind of thing a baby would manage to wrap around their throat and strangle themselves with.

I imagine it isn't true for the Sammieverse either.

Edit: LOL finger tattoos? I only know of one person who can pull those off, and he's fictional.

Her her tattoos look scratch-like, but the hand and finger tattoos always just look dirty to me:

(from a recent Instagram post that's already been shared here-- just cut it down to focus on arm and hand tattoos)

Aftercare? What's that? Put some Aquafor on it and keep that thing covered for a couple weeks while it heals. You have to be especially careful with finger/hand tattoos because hands rub up against things - like rings - more than most body parts. I get that you want to show off your new ink, but aftercare is important if you want that ink to last.

There are two groups of folks I know in the US who do super lavish parties for one-year-olds: Social Media influencer-wannabe types who do it for the photos, and Mexicans. Although the Mexicans generally do huge parties for just about anything (no judge, sounds fun), and their one-year-old parties are more like a reason for a huge family get together like @blue gopher snakes noted. But they are huge parties.

I've experienced this with rural white people as well (similar to the Mexicans, and yes, very very fun)

"I mean, that's what you're paying for, right?"

The hand tattoos are not new. I'm scrolling back through her Instagram to try to figure out when they appeared.

Tried to get pictures that showed her hand clearly.

Here's her getting some of the hand tattoos in 2019. A few of them already existed, but looks like she added a bunch at once. She also already had the arm tattoo and some of the others at this point (there's one on her torso area, too).

Maybe those photos will help the tattoo-savvy people reach some conclusions about her tattoo quality and aftercare. I don't know anything about tattoos and have nothing to contribute besides the photos.

Who's going to tell her that tattoos don't translate into motherly love?

Those tattoos have hung on pretty well. I think this is largely in part due to Alex using her hands much less than most people. They don't get rubbed against things (like a towel after you've washed your hands) nearly as much as most people. For the most part, her hands either rest on her chair or hold her phone. She's naked a lot of the time, so they wouldn't rub up on clothing while getting dressed. I'd say the only thing that would pose a problem would be rings and bed sheets while she's sleeping.
