Isn't duo lingo just counting your activity I. E. opening and using the app as opposed to completing a lesson?
200 days is a very long time but there is nothing to be proud of unless some actual knowledge was obtained and retained. In my experience Duo Lingo is a cute gimmick and a slightly better way to waste one's time than Candy Crush. Learning a language requires more effort or immersion.
Fat Alex could have signed up for a proper in-person language course years ago, could have actually learned something and made some friends along the way.
There are also intense 5 days a week courses which can take one to a very decent level of Spanish in 6 months.
I don't believe for a second she can hold a simple conversation or understand what Yar's family are saying about her.
