I think her big career break was TGWTG, so not really.

she worked at wendys for about a year or so before she started to make contentHas Alison ever had a real job outside of producing online videos?
I demand a "Becky Lupa vs. Stacy Liz"I think Roald Dahl originated it.

just wondering if she's ever reached out to her parents or siblings regarding her financial difficulties
I think she did "reach out to her parents about her financial difficulties", and that's why she still lives with them.
Do we know for sure she lives with her parents?
She Doesn't live with them anymore, she lived in Prescott valley AZ with them until 4 years ago when she moved to Champaign Il to be close to Brad.I think she did "reach out to her parents about her financial difficulties", and that's why she still lives with them.
I think her content got worse when she made Movie Nights. On a technical level she got better but the videos got longer. I think the average Movie Nights episode is about 30-40 minutes which is about 20 minutes too long. Even her 15 minute videos had a lot of comic thuds. Even when she had a co-host like Phelan or Brad it still wasn't great because the convo's lacked focus. To go back to Red Letter Media, when they talk about the movie they talk about it from the beginning to the end with a little back and forth to highlights (You're mother's a bitch!). Whereas in Allison's videos with co-host(s) it's very unfocused.
I don't think it's a love of drama that causes these blowups. She seems like the type of person who gets mad, says nothing, then stews for a long while until having a "I HAVE TO SAY THIS" meltdown. Then holds on to said anger forever.
Allison is neither. She's just an obnoxious bitch with one of the worst cases of GOTIS I've ever seen, as the thread title properly notes.Mildly autistic and a touch bipolar is probably correct.
This, tbh. Allison will just enjoy the attention while pretending to be up in arms about it for whatever attention she can still get. Thus, she's probably a bad choice for a lolcow, but I know y'all love your Channel Awesome drama.Alison should be grateful she has a thread on here. This is the most attention she's had in ages.
Tommy is also physically strong, another trait of successful people. In Chapter Four of the Book, he took Greg over to some Olympic Rings and did an impressive maneuver with it. Would James Franco have adapted this scene properly?
For one thing, Tommy does have a brain and knows how to use it. He's wealthy and from poverty, right? Smart people are the only ones who can accomplish that. He does not say "Oh hai!" to everyone he meets for the first time that day. The Room was originally written as a play, so this exchange wouldn't be that unlikely on stage.
That looks familiar.
I insinuated this here, and I have ABSOLUTELY NO PROOF of it, but I believe she lied about her age when she joined. She's probably the same age as Brad and Doug (now pushing 40), but probably didn't like being the oldest of the girls. And she was able to pass as a decade younger for a while, but now.... not so much.
I don't know if there's such thing as "fake" Patrons, but I've heard of "reciprocal Patrons", where two people support each other for the same amount, so they each gain an extra supporter (boosting visibility) without losing money. On a side note, I find it interesting that she has considerably more patrons on Patreon than Phelous, despite her videos getting far less views on Youtube. I also remember that the amount of money she gets from Patreon for every video she uploads was ridiculously high compared to other content creators, before she set it to hidden. Does she have very dedicated fans with deep wallets, or does she use fake patrons to make her look more successful than she actuall is, does anyone know? I'm not that familiar with the mechanisms of Patreon.
