Alpha and Omega Fandom - Wolfaboos with a love for shitty direct-to-video sequels.

Saw the first movie back then and it had a creepy sexual undertone to it. At one point, at the end of the movie, the alpha female's mom attacks that omega slacker, thinking he already banged her daughter, only with the alpha female telling her that nothing happened (yet). It is never explained for the kids audience since the target audience, the wolfaboos, already know what she was referring to.

Basically the movie humanized wolves and has put human standards and morality mixed with the rules of nature, in a twisted and odd way which leaves the viewer a bit uncomfortable. It doesn't help that there was a lack of consequences and a subplot which has shown the alpha male and the alpha female's sister bond with each other.

The Russians tried to ape that success with the same little effort by putting wolves against sheep.

It's basically the same story premise (lazy main character gets pulled out of the comfort zone, dates way out of his league and there is a conflict between two groups as well as no real consequences except for the main villain - something Alpha & Omega lacked).

i remember watching a trailer for this movie back when it was coming out, had nightmares because of how fucking terrifying it looked.
now that there's actually a thread about it, i think i might watch it just to see how bad it gets.

also, anybody remember this one deviantart user who freaked out cause she thought a&o "copied" *~her super original~* comic idea? i think i saw it somewhere back when i actually used ed but now i can't seem to find their name.

Wait, I remember a friend telling me how someone from Pixar, or perhaps some sort of big, animation studio, was fired after it was revealed that they made this CGI Alpha and Omega porn. I may post it here if I could find it, but this is the sort of shit this fanbase is made out of.

Update: I fucking found it after a second of searching

The name of the artist, for records sake, is oystercatcher7.

Pixar, eh?

So I decided to see what I could find on Tumblr for you. Be grateful, I had to scroll through SPN posts to find these and learned that Alpha/Omega is a fetish. They use the terms "heat mate" and everything please help. But there wasn't much there. I'll check other places as well.

...how does she get shoes around her paws? WHY DOES SHE HAVE ON CLOTHING?
Because it's real porn with shopped on autism wolves. I've wanked it to the top original one.

That's not CGI. I don't know where that "Pixar" thing came from when it's very clearly edited porn, and poorly done edited porn at that.

It's so lazily done. Take a real image, cut out the actor, put in a color overlay, and he either slapped on an image of fur that he overlayed, or used a literal default brush in Photoshop which replicates fur. Then just cut out a still of the character's head and you have a complete image in maybe an hour if you know what you're doing (which I doubt the creator does). Zero effort goes into making convincing shading or texture so he somehow makes it look like an awful Poser model despite it being created with an actual image reference. For god's sake, look at how awful the quality of the heads are compared to the rest of the image.

I guess the creator wanted the viewer to feel aroused or impressed? Because when I look at this I mostly feel confused because I don't understand how a wolf covered in fur can somehow still have pubic hair on top of their normal hair.

"I've got a friend in me! I've got a friend in me!"

As mentioned oystercatcher7 does not draw cgi porn or even create it. All they do is chop a head off some character, change the flesh on a RL human to match and then call it a day. They have a huge cult following on e621 because he was doing it with nearly every character they could and thirsty weirdos need a gender bent Sly Cooper.

They do some handrawn shit but it's still the same motif; pick a model, make minor changes.
Such skill, much art.

Okay, I’m trying to understand how this got such a (almost literal) cult following. From my best guess, maybe it filled in as Zootopia before Zootopia?
No, because that implies it was objectively good and have moments of clever writing like Zootopia did. I think it might have something to do with parents buying this shit on the discount rack and a bunch of autists obsessed with wolves, personally. Why they rallied around it, I have no clue, as there are so many better furry movies out there. Hell, Disney's Robin Hood was the movie known for making furries before Zootopia, and I can confirm this as someone who loved it to death as a kid. Alpha and Omega just came and went and if you're like me, the most you remembered about it was seeing a trailer in theaters and not thinking much of it.

I actually decided to watch the first movie as a joke today.
I stopped watching after the first moonlight howling scene that was a just an unsubtle metaphor for sex.
Also, hearing Danny Glover and Dennis Hopper (ESPECIALLY Hopper) in this piece of shit just made me depressed.

I don't know what's worse: the fact that someone made that, or the fact that I looked at it.

Man, how disappointing would it be to hear that a majority of your viewers are fucking furries instead of little children like you intended, and you haven't even expected your franchise to explode in popularity, but for all the wrong reasons?

This is essentially just the brony fandom, except these nerds are overly-obsessed in talking wolves instead of talking multi-colored horses. I just hope this shit isn't as common as the bronies.

No, that was Space Jam. They had a girl bunny named Lola, they intentionally framed her as sexy (even though she's, like, a bunny), they made her the love interest and everything. No other movie, from what I can remember, tried to make animals sexy in the context of the plot.

They gave the bitch boobs. If Doug Walker was right about anything, it was that giving a bunny boobs was a very unsettling artistic move.

I love how so many other people’s minds went to the same place mine did when I read the title of this thread, which is to the inexplicably popular alpha/beta/omega fanfic setting where men (omegas) can be impregnated by other men (alphas). It makes me think that we should start up a thread in Community Watch for it.

Anyway, I literally had no idea this movie existed until I read this thread. It looks like total bargain bin trash. I’m guessing wolfaboos only latched onto it because there aren’t a lot of movies that cater to their interests.

Zootopia didn't really have any characters that were explicitly depicted as sexy. I was more of speaking about movies that inspired the interest in anthros for furries to come.

Never heard of this gem you're talking about, but it sounds rather funny. If it's really worth the hype I've been hearing from you guys, I'd love to see a thread on in!

Like many others in this thread, I only recall ever seeing the trailer back in 2010 and not really thinking much about it because I wasn’t already well out of the age range for the film. I do recall Torture-Device (from DeviantArt) making a couple of parody artwork of this film which later got deleted by staff after mass reporting from the fandom.

Wait, what the fuck? I always just assumed all of this was just slang for Dom/Sub. This shit has Mpreg in it too!?
