Amazon is making a series about the afteraffects of recent controversial decisions? That sounds surprisingly bold of them. I actually might have hope for this...

.... Oh, wait, you mean its based on the game Fallout. Nevermind.

All episodes available on premiere day.
That's a dumb decision. Nobody will talk about the show after the first couple of weeks.
The same thing happened to The Expanse after they released the first season produced by Amazon. A lot of people complained about it and they switched to a weekly release for the later seasons.

Yes, but modern writers are shit and don't know how to pace their shows. If Fallout is like literally any other streaming show, all the interesting stuff will be in the last two episodes. Better to just dump the whole series than let people gripe about how boring it is for five weeks.

Casting a woman in the lead role 99.99% of the time basically ensures the show will be bad because she won't be allowed to face any real adversity or have any growth.

I joined the brotherhood to hurt the people who hurt me.

Whomever wrote this line deserves to die of cringe. This line alone is proof the writing will be dogshit, not because it shows the writers completely misunderstood the brotherhood to an extent even bethesda didn't, but because this line is independantly cringe and bad even without taking into consideration the lore it violates.

I didn't think Amazon did binge dumps anymore. They didn't do it with Reacher season 2 and that only came out a few months ago...

When did the Brotherhood of Steel allow outsiders in besides the main character? Oh right they're ignoring continuity just like Todd.

As I said before, this is all about nepotism and less about creativity. Modern "writers" for movies and shows are used to writing fanfiction instead of being imaginative, especially with the IPs they're suppose to write scripts for, and giant corpos love this shit, especially the ones coming from Pedowood
I am excited for next product.
I-- I MUST-- I'M CONSOOMING

Well, the Chicago Brotherhood did. Tactics is canon for me they'll never take it away never

I'm a grognard on Fallout so I don't even know what happened to the Brotherhood in F4, but I'm always amazed that people legitimately fall for the meme of seeing the Brotherhood as "COOL POWER ARMOUR" and thus "good guys". The Brotherhood in F1/F2/NV is a sterile, slowly degenerating organization that can't deal with the passage of time, can't deal with anything new, can at best lend its resources to external actors that manage to power through its hidebound leadership.

But whatever.

Oh yeah I forgot about that game. I dont know if that's canon or not since that game also broke some rules of the Fallout World but they were mentioned in Fallout 3 so fuck it.

I think the kid from 3 is in charge of them now.

Tactics was of questionable "canon" even at release. Its inspirations were clearly on the Fallout 2 side of things (modern weaponry, "rebuilding of civilization", consequences of Fallout 1) and not on the theme park sensibilities of Bethesda's fallout. Also, third-party developers.

Still more canon than Fallout 3 in my old, withered heart.
