This is with most movies and TV shows. The """filmmakers""" do not care about professionalism, and they keep using comedy lighting in anything, especially in action and drama

She helped create and produce the show (and is credited as a co-writer for the first couple episodes), as well co-write the story and screenplay for the 2018 Tomb Raider reboot and the 2019 Captain Marvel movie. Those appear to be the only other credits her Wiki page deemed noteworthy enough too lol. So the strong female protagonist suddenly makes sense.

If it's anything like other bad inconsistent shit game companies retconned swaths of lore for the retcon will be quietly retconned from existence, like sonic 06 being the "new starting point for the series" or Metroid other M decanonizing all the games that came out between it and Super.

Then again Bethseda is kind of retarded and their overlords at Microsoft doubly so. There's a chance they might just completely ignore all logic.

I think this is going through the throes of most bethshit and being praised before people actually understand how bad it is.
I have no idea what it is, but any related to their games/aesthetics gets praise regardless just when they release. I can't be the only one that remembers people praising starfield for the first few days it released.

I am never gonna watch or pirate it anyway, but I feel they missed so many opportunities by just retconing the NCR. They could just have made the House ending cannon, leaving all the major factions still there, and shove in the East Coast BoS investigating what even happened to the last of their west coast counterparts. Maybe unite the two reddit factions with the NCR semi-inducting the BoS in akin how they incorporated the Desert Rangers. (It would need A LOT of explanation but would be better than just pure BoS wank).

The makers of the show didn’t say anything about retconning three of the games in the series. I watched the show because I was cautiously optimistic that it might have some appeal. Like it or not, New Vegas is the most beloved game in the series. If they didn’t want to make a New Vegas Fallout show, they shouldn’t have even mentioned it at all, but no, they completely fuck up timeline and pretend that it never happened. It’s an insult to the game’s creators.
