Amazon Studios to develop series based on Fallout

Guess my gut feeling was right as I tried watching this drunk last night. It ticked every box for woke bullshit.

They call the cowboy a Pinko, they show his nappy headed daughter, they immediately set the scene for the main character as a broodmare. And I just shut it off.

I'm probably brain rotted by the culture war at this point, but that shit was immediately pozzed up. No thanks, not supporting it with my eyes.

Is this fucking true? Please tell me its not.

Is this fucking true? Please tell me its not.
It is, Todd really hated New Vegas after all
Best part is that this is coming straight after the disaster that was Starfield. Bethesda can't create anything worth a shit anymore, but they will take the only loved and beloved parts of an IP they own(Fallout 1/2/New Vegas) and smash it to pieces like spiteful little children.
This is a good thing btw, that means that any nu-fallout will not be canon anymore. Fallout 4, or New Vegas, are the last true Fallout titles and the rest can be ignored since they will likely be in a rebooted universe. About fucking time, I say.

I said it before and I'm gonna say it again, It's gonna fucking suck.

Welp, we know who dropped the bombs now
fallout tv show vault tec nukes.png
It wasn't China, it wasn't the aliens, it wasn't a malfunction, and it wasn't US. It was Vault Tec, nevermind the fact that the experiments were meant to test how humans would react to various scenarios so the data could be collected and used when Enclave eventually went to colonize space, meaning that nobody actually believed that US would be nuked and only used the paranoia as an excuse to lock people up in bunkers. Vault Tec did it because capitalism bad.
Again, this only makes sense if Fallout Tactics is canon, since that game has Vault 0, a Vault nucleus meant for the Vault Tec staff which would eventually unify every single other vault, collect their data and create a new country out of the ashes of the old using their robot army and captured military hardware like nukes. This makes no sense from how Vault Tec is shown off in any other game.
Edit: Check out who's also there

Oh yeah, I'm sure Robert Edwin House, the guy who become a dried up bit of meat jerky with a penis pump to save his hometown of Las Vegas, is totally on board with the whole "dropping the bomb ourselves" plan. Forget that in-game he is shown as not caring about the pre war America nearly as much as he simply cares about leaving his city, and his empire, intact.
"I could not save the world, nor did I care to"
Yeah, and that doesn't mean he wanted to willingly end it, either.

Speaking of which, say hello to Frederich Sinclair
fallout tv show big mt.png
What's that, why does he represent Big Mt and not his own company or the Sierra Madre? Fuck you, that's why
Also, the reason why Shady Sands was nuked was because Lucy's mom(aka vault meat that was almost raped at the start) is a pre war, cryogenically frozen Vault Tec employee who left for Shady Sands. Lucy's dad nukes Shady Sands to keep Vault 33 and Vault 32 a secret...never mind that the first thing we see is raiders taking one of the vaults over.
I dunno guys, this doesn't seem like a good plot to me.

If I'm understanding things correctly, Shady Sands was nuked in 2277, four years before the events of NV, thus retconning the events of NV. Todd really is a petty little bitch. He's a fucking moron too. At a time when his customers' good will is quickly running out, pulling shit like this will surely have people clamoring for their next project.

Todd doesn't care, he's on his way out. Starfield failed and the only project he probably has left in him by this point is TES6, if that much.
He got his wealth, he got his fame and he sold out the company he helped make. There is nothing let for him but retirement.
Fallout will be in a really interesting place after this: You can't just try to appeal to older fans after shitting in their mouths like this, so Bethesda will either have to pretend this show never happened or canonize it and make their games even worse. They're banking on the normalfags playing their games, and to make it appealing to them they dumb them down as much as they can(just compare Fallout 76 to Fallout 3, then compare that to the original Fallout titles).
Big gambit if you ask me, especially since these same normalfags are just as likely to know Bethesda for the Amazon show as much as they are to know them for Starfield. Either this is Todd taking a set of action figures he doesn't like and smashing them together to proclaim his is the better one, or in typical Bethesda fashion they don't actually know what the fuck they're doing(or care).

These people cannot create, they can only destroy what was beloved and construct hollow corpses to take their place.
