That's also something that makes no sense, how could Mark be subdued by a middling Viltrumite like Anissa when he killed Conquest, the second strongest Viltrumite? If Anissa can overpower Mark, why would she want to fuck him at all anyway? The whole thing is ridiculous. And people say that it was brave for Kirkman to write that scene in. It really isn't. It's just "WhAt If ThE rOlEs WeRe ReVeRsEd?"

There were a million things Thaedus could've done to stop the colonialism he hated, like trying to gather advocates of his cause and preach for peace, but you touched on something that might accidentally make his retardation good writing after all. Despite his misgivings about the mistreatment of other sentient life, the only solution he can fathom is a reflection of his Viltrumite nature, which is to just kill, kill and kill. Kirkman is too retarded to have written something that insightful and thoughtful though.

That was only true for season 1. Right now they both have the same immature writing but the comic still had somewhat well reasoned arguments against the politics of the time while the show is just "Trumplander bad."

I hesitate to compare this to season 3 because it was at least animated, Steven Yeun actually had to act with all the different Marks and final episode, relatively low on filler, and actually had character progression for Mark. Now, he's back to being a bitch. Worse, unlike the comics, he's thinking of going to see a psychiatrist! Because we all really needed Mark's extremely obvious problems spelled out.
 
One thing that’s hilarious is how if you look at the Reddit even those creatures thought the abortion thing was handled like shit and every single time they have to go “I’m like totally pro-choice and support a woman’s right to choose and I’ve achsually sterilized myself blah blah blah” to maintain their purity instead of just saying “ATOM EVE IS A FUCKING BITCH AND HER DAD WAS RIGHT ABOUT WOMEN!” like a sensible viewer.
