that word doesn't even mean anything besides character standing around doing jack shitI hate "aura farming" so fucking much. it's another cover for bad writing.
I mean demons in Invincible are just 6 lizardpeople that live in a cave and can't beat a random c-tier baddy that even Mark just one shots despite his wildly fluctuating powerlevel, so I'm afraid that they are worth jackshit against literally anyone.Wouldnt demons be effective fighters against Viltrumites since most of their weapons and powers would be magic/hell based and thus would easily by pass Viltrumite invulnerability? Not even mentioning most Viltrumites are no doubt dripping in sin so things like Hellfire should def. absolutely melt them like butter.
People keep acting like Superman cant be stopped without Kryptonite when magic and psychic powers have demonstrated to being able to affect him just like anyone else.

the big thing with the comic, and the reason I still kinda like it, is the fact that it fucking ends. unlike the infinite rebooting of batman for example.I've said it before, I'll say it a million times.
Invincible is the comic book for Comic Book "fans". the "Wow! It's so subversive! It breaks so much new ground!" mob who never actually read a fucking comicbook in their life. The only thing that Invincible had going for it is that unlike normal Comic Books, you didn't need to read a dozen concurrent comics to know wtf is happening*.
Hell I was gonna say it was the first superhero comic to randomly tackle abortion in a hated and hamfisted way, but by technicality, One More Day's magical devil powered abortion was first.
It's derivative trash for the most part.
*Except Brit, Tech Jacket, Guarding the Globe, Invincible Universe, Wolf-Man and finally Atom Eve & Rex Splode
That's about the one positive thing from Kirkman, and the sole way to determine he's actually not Jewish and willing to drag out a story until society itself collapses.the big thing with the comic, and the reason I still kinda like it, is the fact that it fucking ends. unlike the infinite rebooting of batman for example.
This pisses me off to no end, so many fictional universes just treat angels as winged humans with a few superpowers, usually portrayed in a negative light, or as naive buffoons being led around the nose by God.Which doesnt make much sense until you remember that Robert Kirkmann is a nihilist* so that checks out. I mean, when it comes to Heaven and Hell, any natives from there should find most power levels in the mortal realm to be absolutely laughable so Viltrumites are just jacked up space barbarians who are just as mortal as anyone else (and whose souls burn all the same).
Mark becoming a conqueror could have worked if the story had been building towards that, but that would require Kirman to admit people are not blank slates, which then would lead to uncomfortable questions about the nature of race and how it plays into the behavior of humans, and other sentient races. It's funny that Earth and humanity is shown to be the sole thing that grounds Viltrumites and stops them from their lunacy, so Mark leaves Earth with all the Viltrumites forever instead and becomes enlightened space tyrant man.
Never ask a Viltrumite conqueror what ethnicity his partner is, lol. This pisses me off to no end, so many fictional universes just treat angels as winged humans with a

Spiderman 2099 had an ending funnily enough, where he becomes space hitler and sets off to conquer the stars or something.Spider-Man
the next hitler really was mexicanSpiderman 2099 had an ending funnily enough, where he becomes space hitler and sets off to conquer the stars or something.
And it was one of the few character endings marvel respected for a long while, to the point that every time he would show up in other media they just said it was a version of him from the past and not spider hitler.
Invincible came out and became popular right at the cusp of the complete destruction of the Western comic book industry. But no. Mark ends up proving Thaeddus and Thragg right. A Viltrumite is a Viltrumite, no matter what. They're like Orcs but worse. No culture, no creed, no purpose, outside of fighting and breeding. They don't even have a unique language, look, or tongue (which even the mostly human Kryptonians & Saiyans did!). May Kirkman be the last comic of this clade of thinking to ever taste popularity.
You'd think this is a joke but it isn't. Apparently the most popular comic book streaming/piracy site, readcomiconline, has been taken down. In the top search results there was a reddit thread where people are acting like this is a second burning of the library of Alexandria.the buckbroken faggots that have been subjecting themselves to the hobby for decades and wouldn't know what to do without it, and they're a dying bred in the most literal sense.
any issue now they're totally going to reverse one more dayInvincible came out and became popular right at the cusp of the complete destruction of the Western comic book industry.
Other than the Boys, which was its contemporary, I don't think there's been any more capeshit that broke containment, and other than Disney raiding the Marvel vault for the last few dregs of interesting characters and plots they can rape, nobody gives a shit about Western comics anymore.
The zoomers are all reading manga and watching anime, the only audience comic books have nowadays are woketards (that don't buy anything) and the buckbroken faggots that have been subjecting themselves to the hobby for decades and wouldn't know what to do without it, and they're a dying bred in the most literal sense.
I don't see anything past the 2010s gaining all that much traction if an animated or live-action adaptation were to be made, especially not with the waning normie interest in capeshit.
There are a few sites and torrenting is a thing but RCO stood out more for having all the shit you'd typically want, kind of like hianime before it was taken down. It's a convenience thing really. Reddit, being reddit, is just being retarded. You'd think this is a joke but it isn't. Apparently the most popular comic book streaming/piracy site, readcomiconline, has been taken down. Like you're on a piracy subreddit and you have no idea where else to look for comic books outside of your ad infested first result on google shithole site?
That and the talk about Spawn reminds me of that image of that rabbit nigga breaking his sword trying to hit Mark and how FUCKING CRINGE it was, and I don't even know anything about Usagi.Kirkmann just reaaaally wants to make his kryptonian knock offs borderline unstoppable when they really shouldnt be in a world that isnt limited by contrivences
It was the only site where I found hidden gems like The Marquis Inferno, it had so many comics that you never heard of.You'd think this is a joke but it isn't. had to stop 5 seconds in
Saying that "The only thing invincible has going for it is that you don't need to read a dozen comics to get it" is like saying "The only reason you don't drop dead this instant is because the room you're in has oxygen."The only thing that Invincible had going for it is that unlike normal Comic Books, you didn't need to read a dozen concurrent comics to know wtf is happening*.
