Powerleveling here but when I lived with roommates it was hard to keep the place clean and we stayed sick all the time. Add animals into that equation and you've got dander and mold everywhere just waiting to get inside your lungs.

What is commonly called "stomach flu" is frequently just food poisoning. It isn't the actual flu virus.

It's also pretty common for obese people to have worse immune systems, thus getting sick more often than smaller healthier people. That amount of weight puts a lot of stress on their systems, plus they eat garbage and don't do anything to take care of themselves. No exercise, rarely go outside, poor hygiene, etc.

You'll hear from folks that lost a lot of weight, saying how amazing it is that they never get sick anymore, but they were constantly coming down with something when they were fat.

Ambers hygiene is absolutely awful, beckys can’t be brilliant and Eric must have his moments where he’s sick and it spreads. When you have multiple people under the same roof it’s very easy to spread the flu or other illnesses. Excuse the powerlevel but I’m currently in university accommodation and when one of us on the same floor gets sick it spreads (Mainly because share a kitchen. Sharing kitchens or bathrooms with people who are sick is the best way to catch something).

Well it seems like the show is legit and they do sound Southern. IF this person isn't trolling and they're trying to wrangle Amber like cattle, they're wasting their time. This show will be cancelled before she lost the weight to even qualify for surgery.
