What you described is just an extension of her abandonment issues. I imagine these friend issues are not unique to her adult/yt career and that she probably treated people like this while she was still in school.

Arm chair psychiatrist here but I would imagine she developed these skills while trying to get attention from her parents, developing this constant fight or flight reaction in order to hold on to what ever she has in that moment. Her constant hogging of food (not just eating but hoarding as well), of people's attention, this constant need to be heard and to know where people are at all times stem from her not getting any support as child. She lived and still does live in constant fear that everything will be taken away at any moment. If you think of that way then this need to fucking consume 24/7 makes senses. It's human nature to consume as much as possible because you don't know when your next "meal" will be.
