Not just that. She claimed her lung collapsed. Can’t remember what it actually was, but does it really matter? She twists and lies about everything, and is a 500 pound middle aged woman whose body is rapidly falling apart.
Pneumonia.
Summer(ish) 2022. After her "dangleen ankle", she started complaining about a sharp pain in her chest when she tried to breathe, along with wheezing and coughing. The ER noted consolidation in the base of one lung (not a surprise, as she's 500+ lbs and immobile; I doubt she ever breathes all the way down to the bases of her lungs so stuff would absolutely get stuck there). The ER doc suspected pneumonia and gave her antibiotics while checking other things just in case (again, because she's over 500+lbs). That wasn't enough for Ambo, so she wailed about it online for a week or so, and even supposedly got her PCP involved. Amber told us that her PCP looked at the Xray and said she had a COLLAPSED LUNG. Now, it was probably a partial collapse in the base where the consolidation was - as atelectasis can absolutely occur with pneumonia (like I said before, she never breathes all the way down to her lung bases, so having the bottom little crud-filled bit collapse would technically be a partial collapse, but wouldn't actually incapacitate her - it's just her embellishing things to sound worse than they are). It's also a possibility that her PCP THOUGHT she saw a partial collapse, but misdiagnosed it because Amber has hundreds of pounds of visceral fat contorting her organs - which would make her scans look wonky.
Anyway, then Amber was worried that it was a nodule or something, and then that it might have been cancer. Ambo got herself so confused from trying to play Dr Lynn Medicine Woman instead of just letting the professionals do their job (and focusing on her only job in this - eat less and lose weight), that she even went so far as to make a complaint to the hospital about the inadequacy of the care she had received in the ER.
During all of her wailing about how unfair it was for all of this to be happening when she was FINALLY trying to take care of her health, it inconvienently healed with the antibiotics given to her from the FIRST ER visit. And that, of course, caused Ambo to drop that story arc faster than a plate of broiled chicken and broccoli.
I know and have seen people with a collapsed lung. It's SERIOUS when that happens, and you get hooked up to several tubes when it happens. No way does a doctor send you home once they find a collapsed lung ... lol. That's immediate hospitalization and a very likely ICU stay, even.
It's possible that it was a partial collapse. If you develop an infection in the base of your lung (where they can often start due to gravity pulling guck down there), it IS possible for you to develop a collapse JUST in that small area. In that case, the symptoms might not be that much worse than just the consolidation - as that tissue can't function normally anyway. So it
could have been possible that she had a partial collaspse, which wouldn't necessarily cause a pneumothorax or require a chest tube. It would have healed on it's own once the infection cleared up. It's also possible that her PCP never said anything at all to her about any type of collapse, and Ambo added that part to embellish her story (like she ALWAYS does).
Funny, at the end of Monday's video she claimed that that she was crying in the ER and asked the staff if she could even fit into the CT scanner. But Ambo, if you've been getting all of your post-cancer CT scans like you've been insisting that you have been, why would you need to ask if you fit in the scanner?....
EDITED TO ADD:
From the new video, Amber says
"And honestly, seeing my mom as stressed out as she has been because she's been worrying about me makes me feel really, really bad" *chortles and dupers delight smile*
Normally, this would make her eat even worse, but since she's been seeing how worried her mother is, it's caused Amber to.... "continue to not make the greatest choices". It's a learning curve, you guize! You can't expect her to count EVERY calorie she eats!
