AKA, filing a DMCA complaint, versus just whining "muh content". However, a DMCA complaint is a raised bar over just a claim: you have to specify what content - and I mean specifically - you are complaining about and also aver that the other party absolutely is in violation of your content for real, not his bullshit Big Aljackoff is doing. AND you have to swear under penalty of perjury that the claim you are making is real and valid. The only obligation YT has is to limit access to the alleged infringing material until the respondent makes their case or is ordered to remove the content by a legal entity.

The other party can respond (file a counterclaim) with their reasons as to why their content is not in violation as the complainee says. Fair use is a valid defense and is going to win in this case (again), as it's clear that the reaction channels (well, every one that I've seen) is transforming the original work in some way. The complainee then has 14 days to file an actual lawsuit - none of this whining to YT, they do not give a shit, since they've done their part. I mean an actual, you pay for it, real legal system, lawsuit. The best part for our entertainment is: there are very real legal (not just YT) punishments for abusing the process, in addition to punishments he provider (YT) can lay down. And Big Aljackoff would run afoul of that very quickly, even if they had the money to go the legal route.

I haven't paid much attention to Amber since she first moved to Lexington, so I don't know the status of her friendship with Destiny, but even if Destiny had the slightest interest in Amber, it still would never happen because Amber is just too far away. It's Destiny who would always be the one making the long drive, and she actually has a job and things to do besides hang out with Amber. Plus, Destiny doesn't seem to have a problem finding girlfriends who are local to her.

I wonder if it ever occurred to Amber that moving to Lexington could cost her her entire friend group. Becky was never going to last that far away from her support network. Once Becky moved out, that left Amber completely cut off from that entire group of people, and I wonder if she'll ever see any of them again. Who among them is going to do the two hour round trip to spend time with Amber? Or pick Amber up and drive her back to their home to hang out, and then take her back to Lexington afterward?
