I’m very curious as to where she would be going for this program. I looked up intensive/regular outpatient clinics in Lexington and there isn’t much. I didn’t actually watch the video so I don’t know if it’s an actual IOP or if it’s just outpatient, but if the latter is the case then she could have just been going to a therapist who specializes in EDs this whole time. A place where you go talk about your feelings every other week or whatever is just regular therapy, not a “program”. So assuming she did mean IOP, there are several reasons (aside from the fact that she has no intention of losing weight in general) that I think she’s full of shit;
Intensive outpatient is like having a full time job, you go and stay there from about 8am to 4 or 5pm pretty much every day except weekends. I just don’t see her getting up every day and making it there, let alone committing to that for the entire length of the program. Look at how she acted when she worked with Destiny, she was ok for awhile but then she started to find excuses to take days off or leave early. And that was at a place that was giving her money, this is a place to which she will be giving exponentially more money than she made at that job.
Which leads me to my second point, these programs are EXPENSIVE. There’s a reason why addiction is more prevalent for poor/homeless people. They literally can’t afford to get help and free programs that are actually worth the time and effort are like a unicorn. If she doesn’t have money for WLS then how does she have money for a long term program? They don’t do things on a “buy now, pay later” basis. You have to pay up front in one lump sum if you’re not insured. I did see a couple that worked on a sliding scale, but she obviously makes enough to live in a nice apartment and buy constant bullshit so they’re not going to cut her a break. They also take into consideration other household income whether you’re married/related to the person or not, so her girlfriend’s income will also be included if she is indeed helping with bills and expenses.
And then assuming she does go, how long will she keep up? Is she going to tell them that she has a YouTube channel that literally depends on her being a fat, manipulative, narcissistic liar with no self control to function? Is she going to tell them that she eats on camera for extra cash? Is she going to tell them that the reason she still has viewers is because starting and quitting diets, lying about things just enough for people to go on a scavenger hunt to figure out the truth and clickbaiting her obscene body are all things that keep people sucked into watching? If she doesn’t tell them, then the entire point of going and “getting help” is moot. She will absolutely never lose weight as long as shoveling ramen into her fat mouth can be monetized. If she does tell them, they will tell her to quit YouTube and as soon as they do, she will stop going.
There are other things too, like the fact that she can go home every day and order whatever food she wants, the fact that her girlfriend obviously isn’t going to hold her accountable and that she LIKES BEING FAT, but everything I said above are my main concerns. I wouldn’t even call them concerns because I honestly don’t give a fuck what she does, I just don’t have a better word right now. Doubts?
If people doxx the place though, the amount of calls they’re going to get about her channel…. Oof. She might as well not even lie about anything because some of her viewers are bat shit crazy enough to call and rant about her until their number is blacked. I’m sure they will get plenty of emails with links to her muckbangs and compilations of her lying and starting new diets, too.
