Jade moved out of that apartment months ago. We can be fairly sure of that because she works from home and her computer has been nowhere to be seen. We’ve really only seen her at that apartment a few times since the breakup, when Amber needed help with stuff, then she’d be absent again. Agreed. I think it's going to go worse for Amber than she's imagining. Being such a narc, I think she's going to get really resentful of Methmom having a normal-ish life. Amber has made it quite clear that she blames her current problems on her shitty parent's negligence, as well as being in foster care. And she stubbornly refuses to take responsibility for her current life, complaining that her past is too much to get over, making her self-inflicted misery a sort of life sentence for her. Amber likely wouldn't see Kristine's successes as a result of years of hard work and pushing through discomfort, but rather some sort of undeserved escape from the life sentence of misery that her mom SHOULD be facing (since Amber is still suffering). I can see Amber trying various things to try and sabotage Kristine to pull her back down - emotional manipulation, weaponized helplessness, etc. I'm not saying that Amber's an evil mastermind who is consciously plotting this - it's all subconscious on Amber's part (which is why she's so insistent about how she's such a good person).

If Kristine remains strong, she'll likely have set boundaries, and will even limit her assistance to/contact with Amber if she's acting like a cunt - leaving Amber to have to figure out how to adult. If Amber manages to wear Kristine down back into addiction, Amber will lose her responsible grownup and will have to figure out how to adult - while also dealing with an emotionally manipulative and unstable Methmama trying to manipulate Amber for her resources.

TL;DR: Amber needs to grow the fuck up, build a bridge, and get over it.

The only benefit in that was like having a jar of open smelling salts under your nose the whole trip to keep you awake. I absolutely believe that Jade probably insisted on that one day trip so she’d spend as short a time as possible with Amber. Guaranteed, she headed straight for a motel, and likely took a couple of days at least to do the return drive. That trip was a rash move on Jade’s part, but fortunately it paid off for her. I do wonder though if Amber initially planned it as a multi-day trip, and the changing to an overnight trip was the “plot twist and turns” Amber didn’t clarify.

I dont think amber wanted it to be a multi day thing though, she doesnt have the money for a hotel let alone multiple ones. Ambers constant every couple hours stopping for food and water cause she cant stop guzzling down anything and everything must have cost a pretty penny as well. She has like no money anymore ( based on the fact shes not spending like she used to ) so she cant concieve of anything else other than laziness and luxury. I assume she begged and plead to wipey to at least get her to her new destination (after all look at the car amber "gave" her its the least she can do) and like every other move ambers ever had, shes dropped off like an unwanted child, just this time theres no new gf to recieve her.

I have to disagree; maybe I am yearning for the good old days but this felt like Gaycare era Amberlynn especially the end.

When she is trying to talk and think after walking is when she's at her best. She so exhausted by the simple task of walking in a store that her brain just gives up and she just spouts nonsense. Her breathing get really bad.

Plus she mentioned showering like five different times and yet by the end she looks disgusting.
