From my rememberence she beat the shit out of her mom and her service dog.
Now that people are peaking on here to see what the facts are ambers pissed. She cant gaslight gatekeep gorlboss her way out of this so her only way out is to play the victim. Amber certainly does talk a lot of shit in that video for someone who spent the best part of a decade crying on YouTube about how she was a crack baby, she had to save her brother because her meth head parents were too strung out to notice him chokeeeeen, how she was passed around the care system like a bong, was kicked out by her grandmother, etc...

I don't disagree with a lot of what Amber said re: foster care and people being allowed to change their behavior and move on away from it to become better people.
A few things, tho - if she valued her mother's sobriety the way she claims, she would not be dragging this woman to weed shops and to buy her booze. It doesn't matter if she never did those drugs, they are drugs and any former addict should stay far away from them and the people who do them.
The dry cryeen. Gorl. Stop. Even though Yo "Big Simp" Momma doesn't know the difference between wet and dry, we do. This is the final frame as she shuts down the video after "cryeen" the last 60 seconds.
There's our little BPD narc thinking she just successfully manipulated the fuck out of you.
And yes, Amber. Your mother really did catch a charge for hurting a service animal. You both need to deal with that.

I see that to some degree (and I agree with everything you said re: Amber and her addictive substances and troubling behaviour around her mom).
Thing is, there are some things that are just unforgivable, and I don't feel that the wrong-doer is entitled to forgiveness/trust of others they've wronged (or of people who've been wronged in a similar manner). And while any of them CAN change, the harsh reality is that most DON'T (1 out of 20, or 5%, maintain long-term sobriety and improve their lives, yet many/all of those in the bottom 95% are the ones who LOVE to beat you over the head with the "ANYONE can change" line and feel entitled to your trust/more chances). And it can be really tough because while it's true that these drugs do alter behavioural patterns, it's also true that certain personality disorders (such as a couple of disorders in the cluster B group), are more reckless and impulsive, which can DRIVE THEM TO DRUG USE. So, is your addict a horrible person BECAUSE of drug use, or were they already a horrible person who decided to engage in risky behaviours such as drug use and are now an addict? It's a real mess.
I'm not saying that's exactly what's going on with Amber and her mom. I'm just saying that there are a lot of elements to these things, and it's tough to really just be firmly in one camp or the other.
It's just that for so long, Amber had an absolute hate-boner for her mom. Back in the Destiny days, she talked about being born on drugs (Tammie denied that and I don't know whether it's true or not, but thought I should add this for the full context). Amber adamently refused to even mail her mother a 'Thinking of You' card when Kristine was battling cancer in the detention centre medical ward, all due to Amber's childhood. Even as little as a couple of WEEKS before Amber's cancer Dx, Amber was making sobbing "I don't have a mother" TikToks/shorts/whatever. And keep in mind that this was when Kristine already had years of sobriety under her belt, and was likely the exact same person she is now. AMBER DIDN'T CARE. And after Amber's cancer journey was over, she seemed to mostly put her mother out of her life again until Jade dumped her and Amber desperately needed a new caretaker.
And don't forget that every goddamned tick and twitch and quirk and "angzite" that Amber CONSTANTLY complains about having has been blamed on her shitty and neglectful upbringing. Everything Amber's claimed - her OCD, OCPD, MDD, BD, BPD, panic disorder, anxiety, night terrors, "memory holes", fear of men, history of sexual assault (as she's described it), and of course her crippling O-B-C-D ... none of which she can move past and ALL OF THEM which, according to Amber, stem from the actions/inactions of her mother and father. She is STILL completely unable to function as an adult due to these things that happened "two decades ago". Yet here she is shaming US for not just blindly accepting that Kristine's totally different now and what's in the past is in the past. It's like, Bitch, subconsciously YOU DON'T ACCEPT THAT EITHER! Or else you would have been able to work through at least SOME of your issues by now.
I could understand it if Amber was somewhat honest and admitted that she still doesn't know how she feels about Kristine, but that she wants a connection with her mother (and admits that she needs more assistance than she lets on), and she's trying to make the most of a bad situation. But to suddenly try and gaslight her audience with something to the effect of this St Kristine bullshit when she was villifying the women seemingly just the other day rubs me the wrong way. It just feels really manipulative - even for Amber.

It’s baffling ALR is discussing this bs now when it’s been discussed to death already. There is plenty of bs she doesn’t address but is now digging herself and her mum into a deeper hole so she can continue to scold the haydurs.
It does look like Mamalynn has “changed” and is living a low-key sober life. We don’t know much about her beyond the selection of boomer memes she shares on Facebook and her background appearances in videos. We don’t know how remorseful she is for her past actions. I expect because she is in contact with her family, goes to church and maintains her sobriety that this is something she has worked or is continually working on and good for her. Being sober doesn’t make the way she treated her kids, her mother or animals okay, but it can allow her to move on from it in some meaningful way… I guess?
Kids of addicts or kids who have been in foster care often do have fucked-up hot and cold attachments and relationships with their parents. I’m really not surprised that ALR is close to her mum because right now, it suits them to be besties. Mamalynn is her only irl friend and personal chauffeur. I’m still waiting for them to have an argument and I bet it’ll either be over a) something that happened in their past or b) Mamalynn setting boundaries and ALR not getting her way.

I wonder if she somehow harmed a police dog when interacting with the police high as shit and doing something dumb. She may have got that charge whilst escaping charges for harming a police officer or resisting arrest? If so, Mammalynn might understand she has a charge related to the police but not know the particulars of it, especially if she was high asf during that time. Clearly still unacceptable and scummy.

I don't think Amber's motives are pure with her mother, and Amber is both intellectually incapable and too intellectually dishonest to view this through a rational lens. Dragging her mom to the weed shop and liquor store feels like vengeful undermining to me. A form of payback.

Nope. If it had been a police dog, she would've caught 649.2 charges, as assault on a police dog or horse is a more serious offense than assault on a service animal (both are punishable by a $1000 fine, but assault on a police animal carries a 5 year prison term as opposed to the 1 year prison term of assault on a service animal).
