I was watching a couple of her old vlogs and I came across these beauties. I'm trying to figure out what that big lump on her upper thigh is? It also seems as though she has cellulite on her stomach? It's all dimply.

That big lump on her upper thigh is a lymphedema pocket. Her legs are classic examples of obesity-induced lymphedema and I bet her pannus (the FUPA, the belly overhang in really fat people) is affected too, giving it that pebbled, cellulite appearance. Her body struggles to move lymph from her lower extremities and lymph fluid settles there since the body cannot remove it by circulating it back out. When you see normal weight people with enormously fat legs with lumps and absolutely no definition for ankles or knees, you are seeing someone with primary lymphedema, meaning their body has an organic breakdown in the lymphatic system.I was watching a couple of her old vlogs and I came across these beauties. Could the second FUPA be cootie lymphedema? That big lump on her upper thigh is a lymphedema pocket. When you see someone as fat as AmberLynn with legs that have huge lumps and fleshy hangovers (her leg tissue sags around her ankles), they've likely destroyed and scarred up their lymphatic vessels through chronic extreme obesity. AL needs to be wearing compression garments on her legs to encourage the lymph fluid to stop settling and engaging in specific types of exercises that gently encourage lymph movement. It generally doesn't work well. She faces a lifetime of springing leaks in her legs, of misshapen appearance and losing weight won't change it. I doubt pants fit her anymore but I also wonder if the reason she doesn't wear them is because her legs leak and it's easier for her to walk around nearly naked and sit on towels than to have to change her clothes when lymph fluid seeps out of her.
/sperging about lymphedema except to say to say that this is one of many reasons that AL will never recover from this obesity. Lymphedema has no cure and even if she loses tons of weight and gets skin removal she will likely need to have those lymph pockets surgically removed and there is no assurance they will not come back. She faces a life of pain and hardship because of the dietary choices she has made.
You can most definitely have lymphedema in your groin area.Could the second FUPA be cootie lymphedema?
When you say "springing leaks", do you mean fluid will start leaking out of pre-existing wounds? Or is it more like excessive sweating in a concentrated area? She faces a lifetime of springing leaks in her legs, of misshapen appearance and losing weight won't change it.
The body springs leaks. It can be because a cat punctured one of the areas kneading your lap, it can be because the collecting lymph made the skin so weak it permitted the lymph to ooze out, but it is literally that the lymph begins to leak out of you like a slowly deflating water balloon that refills itself periodically. When you say "springing leaks", do you mean fluid will start leaking out of pre-existing wounds? Power level but...My grandpa has that due to diabetes, but he's in his 90's. Sleeps with his feet propped up pillows, the diabetes was acquired very late in life BTW, he always worked out ate healthy and enjoyed wine. Things seemed to get screwed up when he started eating all the "sugar free" foods his doctors said were OK. They're both pillow princesses but his are those hospital grade wedges. His legs have recently swelled, and "weep" liquid from time to time. He does wear compression garments. AL should too, for sure. That's fucked up.
guessing this is Dana's bathroom
Once the lympadic issues start kicking in its only a matter of time before she gets an infection from it. Its a time bomb. That big lump on her upper thigh is a lymphedema pocket. Weight loss, drainage of the affected areas and surgery to move tissue. This is the most horrific thing I have read in a very long time.
What can even be done about this condition? After extreme weightloss, I mean. Is this something that would be remedied by that, or is it a "you've got it forever" sort of deal?

I wish we had a "pathetic" rating.I thought she was all about taking it slow? I have no doubt that if it was up to Amber the new girl would have already moved in. I think she's let Amber know that she's not going to rush into anything and Amber really has no choice but to go along with it when in reality is she planning their wedding already.
