LOL, sorry, I had to laugh. My driving test was no where near that involved. I grew up in a major city in the south. I did 4 right turns, two stop signs (one out of the parking lot) and standard space parking. It was a joke and I knew it was a joke at the time. I wonder if it's changed? It has been quite a while.

I took my driving test about 10 years ago and mine was pretty standard. Parking on a hill, parking and backing up, changing lanes, stop signs, never even did parallel parking. But even if it was a basic test this dinner roll with arms wouldn't even be able to efficiently turn her head to check lanes before changing, assuming she could reach the pedals. She can't even buckle up.

Ok this is a little off topic and :autism: but do y'all think a thread dedicated to Hamber's delicious recipes™ would be entertaining at all?

I think it might lose its appeal after the 4th "pour a whole container of broth in a pot and then just add whatever shit ya got plus green olives," or "I cook with water instead of oil because I don't understand how cooking works."

What exactly have you been strong at Amberlynn?

@sweaty chafing thighs
Thank you - I didn't pay attention in fizzix class and this is why. If they explained something interesting, like the dynamics of fat people flobbing around cars, we'd all be science whizzes. And I shall no longer be sitting behind the local munter on the bus in the hope of a soft, albeit smelly, landing.

@OstREEEch we need the biologists now....

I'm voting for no doc visit (old and cynical.) She knows just ignoring it like she did with the cat will piss off her loyal, idiot supporters so she's going for the uwu, poor me, too fwightened. I want to be wrong, but I bet in her mind its "I'll go when I've lost x lbs then its not so bad" because the only person who differentiates between 497 and 500 is her and I don't think she's willing to face the fact she's crossed the rubicon. She'll attempt to lose it, thinking then she can go to the doc's.....and round and round we go.

For the OGs - was she like this when she hit other milestones, like 400lbs or 450? I can't remember, but I've only been around since early Destiny days. Or is it just 500 she's so stressy about?

Looks like she actually went to the doctor's office and weirdly narrated it:

Makes sense why she's putting so many ads in her videos, she'll be paying a good bit for all those tests.

Congratulations Amber, after months, maybe years of comments pleading with you to get your pets and yourself healthcare you finally did it. Yay you.

Yeah you can get anti depression/anxiety meds from a GP but the drawback is that they don’t quite know the nuances of the medications like a psychiatrist would, so sometimes people go through multiple med and dosage changes as they try to find something that works. Since Amber has no insurance though and likely has several physical health problems she will have to address now, I can see why she would just get everything via a GP.

If they took a randomly timed blood draw to test for diabetes they are most definitely going to get a one time glucose reading as well as an A1C. I’d love to get my hands on her blood work report. It’d be fascinating to see what carrying around 500lbs on a 5’3” frame and a shockingly sedentary lifestyle does.

I'm glad she erred on the positive side of the 50/50 gamble that she'd actually go to the doctor. She's so unwell that just looking at her nowadays is alarming, so I genuinely hope she follows through with therapy and whatever else the doctor prescribes. Knowing her track record, though, I'm going to be skeptical until she proves me wrong. I give her a month tops before she backslides in to her old bullshit (and only that long because there are forces external to the Kentucky lesbian group pushing her).

On the subject of her not being able to afford the medicine, I think I'd sympathize with almost any other young person living in America, but I can't with her. She has no insurance, not because she can't afford it, but because she spends that money on useless shit and fast food instead. I've got a hunch they're going to tack more medicine on to that list once her blood work comes back, so it's only going to get more expensive. Then, obviously, there's the cost of the therapist, which it seems she doesn't realize will be expensive.

I dunno. A lot of people in America aren't able to afford adequate medical care because of the system itself and I really do sympathize with them, but with AL, it'd all be feasible if she wouldn't be a fucking idiot and spend that money on health insurance instead of wax melts.

(Side note: this is something that's always bothered me about AL, but seeing the novel she wrote about the appointment really drove it home. Does it drive anyone else insane that she consistently misuses the semicolon? I feel like she thinks it makes her look smart, but I'm not sure I've ever seen her use it properly, so it just makes her look even dumber.)

Thanks to you guys I'm back to cynical. Thank fuck. I hate having feelz.

I think she'll use diagnosed depression as a catch-all, a get-out-of-jail-free card, especially with the modern development of EVERYTHING being "depression" - call me a bitch, but there is a huge difference between the AL we see and real, black depression. The horrendously depressed only THINK they are a burden on others ;)

I don't doubt she has a level of depression; who wouldn't in her circs? But she'll use the diagnosis as an excuse, rather than what it actually is which is a starting point. The acutely depressed aren't vlogging, shopping, socialising, going out to eat. And yes, I know about covering up, but even so - the cover cracks eventually, whereas she's in her groove.

I actually want to think this might be the start of better things for her. But I looked back at a vid from a year ago (someone posted an ss, its the "makeup tutorial") and she was exactly where she is now - failing a weight-loss journey, promising change and not being truthful. It's bizarre to compare the comments and realise its a whole year ago. She's obviously not so depressed the doc has any concern she'll self-harm any more than she already is by over-eating, so is she just going to build that diagnosis in to enable her to carry on? I want to say no....but realistically? Hmm.

It might just be the coloring of Rarity's fur since it looks grey with white tips almost, buuuut with the matting Wasabi had/continues to have, her feeding habits of the cats (i.e. just leaving out dry food that the dogs could gobble up/cats looking scary skinny before), and general ignorance on animal care.....well, at least she finally got her spayed.

Yep, it looks like she's just not being brushed. I'm sure she's shedding and sometimes, depending on the coat texture you have to help it along even if it's a shorthair. But, hey, our gorl is too busy to do something that minor. She's got important shit to do, amirite?

My guess is that at worst she has dysthymia which is persistent low level depression. Her REAL problem is that personality disorder.
