Her indulgences are the reason we have this subforum. She indulges Twinkie too - by feeding her table scraps, by allowing her to sleep with them for as long as she and Becky sleep, by carrying Twinkie on her lap everywhere they take her.has endless money for her own indulgences and it doesn't extend to her "furbabies".
Yes. I think her reasoning was "big is better". IIRC, on the video before the one with the big bowls she opened up cans of food and let the cats eat out of the cans.Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't their a vlog where she showed her cats eating out of huge dog bowls?
When people commented about that, she got the huge bowls, probably thinking that getting the biggest bowls she could get would show how much she loves her fur babies.
Another post that needs to be pinned to the top of this subforum.Big Al is a cunt, but whoever called animal control is a bigger cunt. Her pets may be overweight but they’re fed, warm, and safe. In a shelter they risk being euthanised or placed with a truly abusive household
I don't think she wants to lose weight, but she's at a point where her wants need to be disregarded because she needs to lose some weight.I’m confused about wether or not al wants weight loss surgery. To begin with she said she didn’t want it because it was dangerous. Then she said she couldn’t get it because of the price and on sc she was talking about how lucky the people on my 600lbs life are and how if she was given that opportunity she would cherish it more than them. But then when someone asked why, if she makes so much money, she doesn’t just save up for it and she replies by saying she doesn’t want to get the surgery. Does she really not want it or is she just being a baby?
Amber is past the point that any surgeon will take her as a patient, and this has been true for more than a year now.
Operating on her is a logistical nightmare - anesthesia is calculated by weight, but she's so heavy, the amount of drugs necessary to knock her out can kill her. On top of that there is her lungs, which have been functioning badly for at least as long as she's been with Becky.
God only knows how badly other of her organs are working - damaged liver and kidneys will also make the surgery trickier. Then we have things like cholesterol levels, probable (pre)diabetes condition and on and on...
Can she still find a team willing to do the surgery on her? Probably, but she'll pay dearly for it, either with money* or her life. The problem is that Amber doesn't understand the concept of future - asking her to save is ludicrous. In her head, if she doesn't have the money NOW, she won't ever had the money.
*Some time ago, a Farmer did some calculations on how much it would cost for Amber to get the surgery and it was a lot of money. Amber can only produce "good hits" on YT by accident once in a blue moon.
No, surgery isn't the magic pill you think it is. It will not lessen the cravings. It will not force her to do any of the things you mentioned.Surgery would lessen the cravings, thus making her main excuse void. She’d have to completely change her life, from eating less to getting back on track career-wise. No more lying around, no more day-long TV binges, no more daily excursions to the mall in search of stickers. Amber would have to grow up.
I know of many, many people who have the surgery and end up with chronic malnutrition and little to no weight loss. Don't believe me? Take a look at the Boogie thread. He had surgery last year.
I need to address this separately. Getting back on track? Amber never, ever had a "career", she can't get back on track to something she never had.getting back on track career-wise
In case you're new to Amber, her first job was around (I want to say) 2015 when she would force Destiny to take her along to D's job. Eventually, out of pity (and probably because they were fed up with that annoying blob taking space and disrupting the job flow) the folks at the retirement place gave her a part time job (I think she was to bring the folks in the home food?). That lasted MAYBE 6 months.
After that they moved to Kentucky and she got a job at a call center? data center? (I'm not sure). She kept the job for less than 4 months. And thus ended Amber's "career".
