The marriage proposal was because Becky wanted a meal ticket (until Amber dies from Becky's actions). They don't love each other just because they ostentatiously peck each other on the cheek when the camera is on, and they physically cannot have sex. If Becky loved Amber, loved her enough to want to marry her, she would love her enough not to be complicit in every self-harming lie she tells, and enough not to enable her to gain 100 pounds in a year. I see in Becky nothing but opportunism.
