I see the term FUPA thrown around a lot in this sub verse, often inaccurately. I'm a fan of speaking strictly and a glutton for punishment, so I'm going to walk you shitlords through a lesson on hambeast anatomy.
As you may or may not know, the term FUPA stands for "fat upper-pubic area."
Here is an example of a FUPAJPG.
A FUPA is NOT the same thing as a panniculus. The
panniculus, or pannus, is a medical term for the dense layer of subcutaneous fat in the lower abdominal area.
What's the difference, you may be asking? The panniculus extends from the abdomen, the FUPA extends from above the genitals.
To further distinguish the type of panniculus on an obeast, medical professionals assign to each case one of five grades. The grade categories are defined as follows:
- Grade 1: Panniculus barely covers the hairline of the mons pubis, but not the genitals.
- Grade 2: Extends to cover the genitals.
- Grade 3: Extends to cover the upper thigh.
- Grade 4: Extends to cover the mid thigh.
- Grade 5PNG: Extends to cover the knees and beyond.
In "smaller" fats with a grade 1 panniculus, the FUPA may be visible, as is the case in
this exampleJPG. Here, the panniculus is the exposed flap of flab and the FUPA is visible underneath the sweatpants.
Often with the morbidly obese, however, the panniculus extends over the FUPA, hiding it from view. If you wanted to have a gander at the FUPA of a full sized eatbeast, you'd need
meat hooks or a team of exhausted, underpaid, and underappreciated nurses to lift the panniculus out of the way. The three beasts on the left of
this pictureJPG almost certainly have FUPAs, but they are (thankfully or not) covered by their grade 3 panniculi. The women on the right, however, only has a grade 1 panniculus and thus her FUPA is visible underneath her pink bathing suit.
So there you have it. Now you know how to accurately refer to parts of the "human" body that shouldn't exist (but do) and can fatshame with accuracy.
