I think Amber actually gains weight when she eats healthy shit. She'll eat some healthy meal that she doesn't enjoy whatsoever, then because she feels unsatisfied she'll go eat whatever junk she felt like eating in the first place. She doesn't replace her bad eating with healthy stuff, she eats "healthy" meals in addition to the regular crap.
She's just opposed to anything that would actually cause weightloss or a reduction in what she can eat in a day. Her nitpicks about keto or her doctor's plan or WW are all the same one thing, an escape hatch.Amber is really, really prone to restrict/binge cycles. (lol @ amber restricting)
She'll set a goal for like 1,800 calories..... try to adhere to it by eating "healthy" food she hates.
Then she will fail by eating like 2,000 calories or breaking some weird food rule she made for herself.
She will then say fuck it I'll start again tomorrow. Have a 3,000 plus binge.... with the misconception that she is going to "start forreal tomorrow" then the cycle starts again. Restrict/binge/restrict/binge.
That' partly why she is so opposed to keto. She doesn't feel like it's "healthy" - she has this thought process that she is perpetually having a "last hurrah" before "okay totally forreal going to start my new lifestyle tomorrow" when it comes to dieting black and white thinking is super toxic and she has black and white thinking BAD.
She would have been a lot better served following the doctors plan where she just ate reasonable portioned foods throughout the day with joyless snacking to prevent binging like the doctor advised her too..... but nope
today she will surely start her new lifestyle (:

At this point, Al would need to be monitored 24/7 by nurses, doctors and dietitians to have any meaningful weight loss. She would also need restricted phone access and an on site therapist to help her food addiction. The only reason she lost those infamous 89 elbees was because Al was monitored by Krystal’s parents, had limited spending money and was forced to do things that didn’t involve eating (like going to school). Her habits have become such a part of her, that in order to make changes, she would need extreme measures. Unsurprisingly, she seems glad to be taking the fast lane to six feet under in a few years. Some of her organs are probably so damaged by now that even if she did lose the weight, her lifespan will still be shorter because of all the strain her organs have gone through.Amber is really, really prone to restrict/binge cycles.
