She said 40 hours, actually. Although Amber doesn't realize that sleep doesn't work like that: staying up when you should be asleep is just more sleep that you're missing out on, she's going to be more tired and sleep in later. She's been doing this for a long time and you know what they say about doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.She said in the video that wouldn't shut up that she was staying awake for 24 hours to fix her sleep schedule. That seems exeptionally dumb even for her so maybe she misspoke the number. Why fix it anyway, she doesn't do anything to get up for anyway.
As for her looking for new weight loss channels to watch, she's looking for content to copy, not for any weight loss advice.
The only thing that's going to get Amber's sleep schedule relatively normal is getting a CPAP machine for her untreated sleep apnea. But that would require a referral to a sleep specialist, an overnight sleep study and the responsibility of showing up to her following appointments.
Anyone in their right mind knows that Amber will never do that. She can't commit to anything of this nature (e.g a regular PCP, a dietician, inpatient treatment) because she refuses to bear any real responsibility for being 600 pounds and she'll never willingly give up control of what she eats and how much she eats.
