I thought I misheard her say that, but I still don't believe she does have it. I mean, she hasn't uploaded anything talking about 'how she had to look through all these different plans' or 'how confusing everything IS!' or 'she can't go to a certain doctor cause the insurance WONT COVER EET!'
I personally think that was a lie, but only because when she mentioned trying to get weight loss surgery she said "I wrote the check that night". If she had insurance why was she trying to use money as leverage to get the surgery? The cost wouldn't be as substantial if she was covered, she wouldn't be paying full price like she implied.

Because maybe the insurance she has won't cover it? Because maybe this fancy doctor she was puffing up about doesn't take her insurance? Because maybe that doctor she was puffed up about isn't in her network? Maybe those are reasons she was prepared to write a check?

It doesn't even take creative thinking to come up with these reasonable and highly probable scenarios.

Jesus HMO Christ.

You're not wrong, but we could just go down this line of reasoning forever. Like, why would she go to a doctor that didn't take her insurance? Why would insurance not help cover weight loss surgery for someone with a 100+ bmi? She's either lying or not.

Because for some reason, she was hepped up on this particular fancy ass weight loss doctor. Amber said she wanted the surgery NOW. I suspect she thought money could buy her way out of all the requirements and compliance weight loss surgeons expect.

Some insurance doesn't pay for it. Some require a year long program.

She's either lying or not.
She's either lying or she's not about what?

A screenshot of the reddit post for posterity.
Depending upon the healthcare network of the facility, it's possible Amber has burned many a KY dr, urgent care, etc by not paying her way. She might have to present a check even with insurance to settle any previous debt before they'd allow her to open a new tab, so to speak.

The trauma in question is little more than a cosmetic accessory that she can slip on and off to complement the person that she has decided to be for the day. These trashy social media quotes that she likes to share only reaffirm her belief that she can't be held accountable for things that are seemingly out of her control. Rotting flesh prison aside, she lives a more comfortable and sheltered life in comparison to many others in her age group. She can squeeze into many roles but martyr sure as hell isn't one of them.

I don't think that's how that works my dude.

Last I checked, and it's been a while, those collection suits in small claims court were cleared. She either paid them or settled with the collection agency out of court, because I was unable to find them any longer.

But maybe the staggering geniuses over on reddit can.
