Ana Valens / Anastasia Catherine Wythe / Phil Wythe / Philip Stephen Wythe / @SpaceDoctorPhD / @acvalens / @ac_valens - MtF transtrender extraordinaire, formerly a freelance "journalist" for The Daily Dot; but now works for Kotaku, SJW, professional liar and social rouser, CatParty's favorite blogger
At this point, he isn't getting any media work that requires him to show his face (he's only showing his vtuber faces to the world aside from the odd selfie) in New York City (Vice has an office there), he's e-begging for rent every month, and he's shutting himself inside most of the time because "muh agoraphobia". Maybe it's time to move somewhere cheaper? The same level of begging goes much further if you're paying half the rent.

Fair enough, I just hate hearing bleating about his financial situation when it's been accepted forever that talented non-sex pest creatives can expect to need a day job for the vast bulk of their careers.
Especially when so much of his situation is self-inflicted, like I'm sure it's been discussed, but Archive of Our Own is known to be free speech absolutist so why isn't this retard just publishing there and posting coy links to it? Or use any of the Patreon knockoffs or even OnlyFans to publish?
Ana's lolcow career has been mostly dormant with huge spikes at random whenever he manages to poke the eye of the beast.
This year Julay's Philip is a side attraction in a low level category but the fact he's there at all means it's just a coin toss every year until he's competing with the big boys.

I went from reporter to editor to strategist; it would be accurate to say I graced levels of the games media leadership hierarchy that are often inaccessible to transgender women. For this, I've been both parts grateful and remorseful, as my time as an editorial strategist at GAMURS involved implementing one of the greatest sins of games journalism's digital media era: Corporate directive on acquiring organic search traffic. This, more than anything, spelled the beginning of the end for GAMURS.
When I think about games criticism's future, I think about the video essayist. There is something so beautiful, so admirable, about the 30+ minute YouTube video game deep dive by a NEET trans woman VN fan, a lifelong outsider who can only calm the passion raging in her heart by opening her pirated copy of Premiere and creating, creating, creating. This is who we should aspire to be. This is who we should emulate.
As for those who wish to become reporters, I'm not sure blogging is the future. But there are models to study. Alyssa Mercante's hybrid streamer-writer style, Stephen Totilo and his work at Game File, or the advocate-journalist model I've put out in my paypros work.
Your words form the rope that will hang you. I have no qualms about preserving them.
I did go through and rearchive many of his Daily Dot articles from the Wayback Machine, but IIRC many of them may have already been archived under original, older URL patterns. I did get lucky in archiving and triple/quadruple archiving some of his Vice articles before they were removed.
He forgot to add that your neighbor was attempting to get you and your roommates addicted to several life ruining drugs and take money from you, while also neglecting all his kids.

What the fuck do you mean? All a man has to do is to put on a dress and suddenly he's a woman. This has happened to several CEOs who were the first trans CEO for their company. The same happens to every single video game autist job.
Phil deactivated his Bluesky account, apparently after a pile-on.
It wasn't over his vicious attacks on others, or disgust at his relentless gooning to his many weird fetishes. It was because one person (Parker Molloy) mildly questioned a furry putting boobs on Isabelle the dog from Animal Crossing, and Phil got pushback when he got involved in the resulting idiotic slapfighting.
Part of the original thread by Parker Molloy. He eventually deactivated his account over all this.
Some responses, posted by Molloy.
Phil's posts again. This is someone's image from Bluesky, there was probably more.
Fallout.
Edit: Of course he couldn't even go away for one whole day. His last thread before running away yesterday.
The comeback.
Last word.
"Journalism" may be the only "job" that deserves someone like Phil.
I still can't believe that this retard directly connected his professional identity to his disgusting nudes and freaky perversions. Then again, I also can't believed he wrote "professionally" about these things. I know Vice is a rapidly sinking ship, but why did they or anyone else hire him? That's almost as crazy as this loony troon is.
Both accounts are deactivated for now, I'll be F5'ing. It shouldn't be too long, he needs at least one account to post his low-grade smut and beg for rent money after all.
EDIT: It's that time of the month again. Who could have predicted this?!

I never thought that I'd see the day where Parker Molloy was unambiguously in the right. I figured he'd get himself canceled at some point, those who live by the sword and all, but I really wasn't expecting it to be over expressing very mild condescension to someone who wanted boobs on a dog in a video game.
Still though, no sympathy from me. Lie down with (big booby) dogs, wake up with fleas.
I’d like to move away from providing as much analysis and journalistic work. Will do sex ed streams, zatsu with political discussion, highlight major events in online censorship. But I think the climate on social media (on and off Bluesky) is very hostile to journalists for unsustainable reasons
I’m comfortable with being a polarizing figure, but I would like people to be a little less weird about me on here. People are very weird. The only path forward to accomplish that is to become an adult creator and VTuber in entirety and say goodbye to doing journalistic work in a dedicated capacity
It’s a lot easier for people to have no opinion if you don’t share an opinion — a wise girl once said nothing at all. It’s not great that it’s come to this but I think a decade of hard work has been put it and it’s time to retire from my tour of duty. Not a surprise, I’ve talked about this lots
You’ll read writing from a diverse roster of contributors at Mothership. You’ll find reviews, criticism, and opinion stories, as well as articles about how games are made and marketed. You’ll get investigative reporting on the people who make games in an era when “DEI” is on the wane. You’ll read historical deep dives on the games and creators that paved the way, especially those that didn’t get due credit way back then.
When Mothership launches, we'll feature writing by other former Polygon writers like Nicole Carpenter, Nicole Clark, and Susana Polo, as well as writers you may know from their bylines elsewhere, like Grant Stoner and Nico Deyo.
We believe this type of writing is not only necessary but all too rare. We know that games journalists and critics who've covered the intersection between gaming and gender, bodies, and identity have faced serious backlash in the past, and the contributors here at Mothership have faced it ourselves, too.
With your help, we'll build a sustainable business that can afford rigorous editing processes, sensitivity readers, and legal counsel when necessary for high-risk investigations of high-profile games studios and figures.
You can subscribe at 3 different levels, each with their own set of rewards, and if you pay annually, you’ll get an additional 17% discount:
Mother's Little Helper: $7$5.95/month, or $70 $59.95/year
Mommie's Dearest: $12$10.20/month, or $120 $102/year
Fairy Godmothership: $35$29.75/month, or $350 $297.50/year
404 Media remains one of the few outlets to actually protect and defend adult devs with zero self-consciousness. Bless Sam Cole
I don’t think I need to mention the fact that, you know, Aftermath ain’t touching this
The remaining games journalists really are failing you, like even if their editors would reject stories on this… telling they aren’t talking about it on here
Ana is second place LOTY on the Vtuber category above every actual Vtuber I'm so proud of all you faggots I'm literally gonna troon out and cosplay as Garth to celebrate!
Philip was riding fully that era from 2012 to 2020 where trannies could do no wrong and you couldn't say a word even against those that turned out to be actual school shooters or convicted pedophiles.
If you did, you'd catch a permanent ban in every platform and banking service in the world for your sin.
Never forget these people were this close to absolute cultural control of society and they couldn't wait to use it to gleefully kill you, rape your family and laugh about it for years later after the fact.
Never forget Ana's breeding camp fantasy isn't a quirky fetish but their actual vision of a perfect utopia worth killing for.
Phil wants the money and the gooning from sex work, but for some reason, he thinks his opinin as a manwhore is worth something. He wants to be an influencer in that respect, something which other people call him smart and insightful while jacking off to him ( ) but unfortunately the audience that takes men pretending to be women prostitutes is incredibly small. Happy second place, Valens!
Congrats on placing, Phil! You've finally felted Kirsche, hopefully someone lets him know he finally has something classier to show off than his futa breeding farm asmr.
