What is an AniList?​

AniList is an animanga tracking website that serves as a competitor to MyAnimeList, with its main appeal being its simple UI and the ability to rate stuff in decimals (something MAL lacks).
Ever since its inception, it's had a thriving community, and with that community comes people to moderate said community.
This is where everything falls apart.

Since AniList released in 2013, it has survived alongside the Culture War of the 2010s, communities like Tumblr and the like. As time went on, many of these people would flock to other communities to spread their disease, and AniList was unfortunately a victim.
The site has been mocked over the years due to the mod team consisting mainly of trannys and progressives who will silence you for very minute reasons (saying "trap" for example).

2020 Drama​

What do you call a person who's surrounded themselves with a community of people who have similar beliefs as them and help validate their mental illness, but doesn't think that's enough and demands more?
An AniList mod named "Mex" apparently.

These two, Mex and Ele, didn't feel like the team was doing enough to make the community feel more "inclusive" for LGBT and other marginalized people and felt like many of them didn't care.

But it doesn't end there; after these statements were posted, a thread was created for mods to discuss on how things will improve. This is where the site owner, Josh, responds and decides to pull a tard moment and delete all the other replies and lock the thread.

As a user points out, him saying this on the site violates the rule that states, "Making light of or glorifying non-fictional violence is prohibited", and his defense is that he's not promoting him being assassinated... even though he literally did. Celebrating his death is celebrating him being assassinated, there's no other way you can spin that. Also, the rule doesn't specify glorifying assassinations, just non-fictional violence in general, and I feel like celebrating the death of right wingers is glorifying non-fictional violence.

I never said he deserved it

Why would you celebrate someone's death if they didn't deserve it?

This situation highlights the worst aspects of Taluun that make him the infamous mod that he is; his inability to ignore trolls, his smug superiority attitude, and him using a tragedy to express his personal politics.
