Not even close:Is ROUNDABOUT the best anime ending song of all time? I think it even beats out Shouchi no Suke for One Piece and Naruto's OG ending song.

I love the Hex Maniac too.Not even close:
I could do this shit all day.
This is correct, but solely by merit of being a Yes song and thus musically better than the IV V iii vi progression of literally every other anime song. However, Roundabout is nowhere near the best Yes song; it’s not even the best song in Fragile. Is ROUNDABOUT the best anime ending song of all time?
"literally every other anime song", we also have Walk Like an Egyptian by the Bangles, Last Train Home by Pat Methany, I Want You, Freek'N You by Jodeci, Modern Crusaders by Enigma, and Distant Dreamer by Duffy. This is correct, but solely by merit of being a Yes song and thus musically better than the IV V iii vi progression of literally every other anime song. All of these are inferior songs to the fuckin’ two years Yes was putting out banger albums."literally every other anime song", we also have Walk Like an Egyptian by the Bangles, Last Train Home by Pat Methany, I Want You, Freek'N You by Jodeci, Modern Crusaders by Enigma, and Distant Dreamer by Duffy.

AUTISTIC VENTSLOP AHEADNot sure if this belongs in the Q&A section of this board (as this is a really stupid question), but at any rate, given the stuff Null has pointed out on why he doesn't like anime, does it make one "lesser" to be a fan of anime, given his reasons for disliking it?
This is just false. Even elitist shows like LOGH have autistic traits (easily-differentiable hair colours and lots of exposition). Even Tomino shows have a tendency towards exposition for story (though not for character). This is also true in old OVAs -- I watched an OVA recently (Vampire Wars) and the ending was an exposition dump talking about how the vampires are actually aliens trying to protect humanity from hostile races (or something like that, I was half-asleep). Shows like Divergence Eve that are stingier with exposition still explain everything via info dumps rather than organically weaving every plot point into a conclusion that doesn't need explanation.Null's reason for disliking anime is because he generalizes the writing as "autism friendly". But anime is a massive media. All you have to do is look past the Top 50 and you'll find thousands of shows without "autism friendly" writing.
It doesn't have anything more obscure.Aren't you using hianime.to? Found it pretty easy to use.
LOL. Asians that "meet every benchmark of success" are usually super depressed, so no wonder he's coping with CGDCT and Vtubers.I recently met a guy in orchestra, and he meets every benchmark of success. He's good at his instrument, and he's doing very well in a competitive STEM field (not computer science or engineering btw). He's also really into CGDCT anime and watches a Vtuber, which surprised me.

Allow me to be more concise:Nigger, what?
...Allow me to be more concise:
- Anime appeals to Westerners not necessarily because of autistic traits or sexualization, but because it's rooted in Asian religion, mythology, and social issues. These things are often new and exotic to Westerners; proof of this is how many Westerners easily think Buddhism is super deep and enlightened because it's different from familiar Abrahamic religion.
- Anime often obscures its Asian roots (to the uninformed Westerner, that is) with sci-fi, Western fantasy, and Western mythological/religious theming. This gives the impression of originality.
- Anime that is reasonably intelligent or creative with blending Asian cultural elements and other cultures and genres together will be quite enjoyable (see: Gall Force, which combines samsara with the story of Adam and Eve and places it in space), while anime that fails to do so will not be. This blending can even make certain sexualized shows watchable.
- Once you realize this is what anime does, you will hold anime in less esteem as you realize it's not original; it's just from a different culture.
- Anime may not make people lesser than others; I have recently seen a successful person who watches moe anime and Vtubers but isn't a degenerate about it.
- Anime is linked to extreme politics because both are reasonably outside the mainstream and promise the chance for you to experience or learn things most people never will. This appeals to people with underdeveloped social skills.
- Almost all anime, no matter how obscure, will have autism-friendly traits like bright hair colours, elaborate outfits, and unnecessary exposition.
This is not how mukokuseki works. And the decision for using all colors of the rainbow was made when computer games became huge in the '80s because it made the character profiles pop, and allowed characters to be distinguished from each other while still unmistakably Japanese to the audience. It's also a form of fetishizing Western traits since, naturally, Asians don't have blond hair and big eyes, but it's aesthetics first-and-foremost.will have autism-friendly traits like bright hair colours

dude its a CARTOON, if you can't get away with having bright and colorful designs there, where the hell can you?Almost all anime, no matter how obscure, will have autism-friendly traits like bright hair colours, elaborate outfits, and unnecessary exposition.
It's a very quick and cheap way to show that someone is evil without either killing off a character/creating a character just to kill them off, also coomers. Why does every alien or cultist or spirit they encounter in Dandadan wanna rape Momo? I feel like every arc seems to have an attempted gang rape plot.
Huh, interesting. I heard the crazy hair was inspired by the purple haired ladies in Space 1999.This is not how mukokuseki works. I was always conscious of this, so no, it's not a new discovery. However, it does explain why I got into anime, which is something I had been thinking about after Null said that something about anime, outside autistic or sexual traits, makes people fall in love with it while it filters others. And you just discovered any of this? Brother. I don't like Anime because I can get it here. I like it because it is fucking different. So what if it's a bit autistic? That is every hobby at the end of the day.
I want to understand viewpoints other than mine and this is an interesting topic for me to discuss.Who cares what random internet retards think of your hobbies lmao what are they gonna do call you mean names on the internet?
True. Perhaps that's why there's the stereotype of autistic people liking cartoons. You can also apply all the things about face blindness and anime to Western cartoons, where every character has a specific outfit or silhouette. I may be faceblind myself; I've noticed I rely on hair to differentiate strangers. At times I have difficulty differentiating Athrun and Shinn because their hair looks similar (though that's more Hirai's fault).dude its a CARTOON, if you can't get away with having bright and colorful designs there, where the hell can you?
