I heard a lot of unbelievable things in sports anime, but that's the most unrealistic yet.

just look at the whole expedition 33 drama

Piracy will always win in the end. Some sites that are complacent or have owners with bad opsec will get whacked, and others will pop up to replace them.

If they can't crush all of the manga/manhwa pirate sites on the surface WWW, both sides are barely even trying.

The problem with this case was that site had a lot of old shit, very valuable scans. Now do backups exist? Probably. It isn't good it got taken down so easily. It will take a while to make another with a fraction of the backlog
