There have been many bullshit studies that say shit along these lines, and Burch could've picked it up second-or-third hand from anywhere.

Not shocked at all that this dude had/has a porn addiction. His behavior and mindset are very much in line with the typical porn obsessed jerked out loser. There's two types of these losers, the "women aren't shit, I can jerk off and not deal with them" crowd and the "I'm a progressive, only religious idiots don't jerk off 9 times a day to a roulette of fetish of pornography!" crowd. Dude wasn't satisfied with fucking up his personal life, so he decided to go all in and flush his professional life down the toilet too. He bailed on an easy, well-paying job inserting memes and making everyone bisexual in Borderlands, so he could write 3 episodes of a series no one has heard about. I guess it never occurred to Rev Cuck that he could write those episodes without quitting his job? It's not like it takes him more than 5 minutes on Reddit to find material to work with.

You can easily work on a show and a game at once, it's super common, to have rotating contracts in multiple writer's rooms. Your manager negotiates out the time and you report to work in a different office, it ain't hard.
