did you just not care enough to timestamp it or?He did say he would fuck nine year olds. During a conversation with Bill Burr on how low he would go, Ant blatantly said nine. He of course immediately pivoted and said he was joking when everyone gave their reactions to it.
I don't know the exact date of the show, but you can hear the segment in Beige's documentary on Anthony.
Timestamp must have climbed up there for warmthdid you just not care enough to timestamp it or?
Also, excellent documentary. fallen asleep to this and the additional follow up on brother joe several times.

I don't think they ever did Jocktober after Anthony got canned. Most compilations and uploads I see on YouTube have nothing past 2013. I don't think they really wanted to continue doing or even would have been allowed as the 2010s rolled on. Just the politically incorrect shock jock humor and starting fights with other radio stations. No way would Sirius have tolerated that.Has anyone (Sam more specifically since I guess he's the only one left) done Jocktober the last few years? I think the one clip I ever saw from Jim and Sam was them debating if they should do it, or maybe they ended up doing it for the day as an excuse to bring up Opie or someone else close to the show, but I couldn't be bothered to finish the clip or look for any more. I know Karl from WATP rips it off and focuses on radio shows in October, but 1 show a week ain't good enough even if he wasn't a complete douche.
If some mad lad archived the facebooks as they were being attacked, that would've made my day, knowing how bad or funny the listeners' shitposts were.I decided to listen to some ol' Jocktober, and this one is funny because Jeff, Jenn, and Fritsch are all still at Q102 to this day.

I know that these pest attacks really just amount to gayops and neghole pozzing, but they were quite funny back in the day.If some mad lad archived the facebooks as they were being attacked, that would've made my day, knowing how bad or funny the listeners' shitposts were.
You can still see the post histories on certain pages, like Ted & Amy, but the photoshops are likely lost due to time.

I mean thats what Jocktober eventually turned into after 2011; from bashing the radio station for a couple of minutes then Sam going back and forth saying "Look at what their listeners are posting on their Facebook page, some lady being fucked by a horse etc."I know that these pest attacks really just amount to gayops and neghole pozzing, but they were quite funny back in the day.
It was so mean, and uncalled for, and vicious, and disruptive, and hilarious. Some of the listeners did really funny shit.I mean thats what Jocktober eventually turned into after 2011; from bashing the radio station for a couple of minutes then Sam going back and forth saying "Look at what their listeners are posting on their Facebook page, some lady being fucked by a horse etc."
I think the worst one was Randy & Alana cause one of them had a child with down syndrome and one of comments from them were "Your retarded son is the reason why I support planned parenthood."It was so mean, and uncalled for, and vicious, and disruptive, and hilarious. That one got especially vicious. The boys had to distance themselves from it, while (I think?) Danny read the article detailing the fallout and suppressed his laughter. Alana retired from radio and now works for some performing arts center in Boise. Randy does voice over work.I think the worst one was Randy & Alana cause of them had a child with down syndrome and one of comments from them were "Your retarded son is the reason why I support planned parenthood."
And then Alana opened her emails to pests saying that they wanted to rape her.
Their pay cheque must be fucking light to still be on the radio in 2026.I decided to listen to some ol' Jocktober, and this one is funny because Jeff, Jenn, and Fritsch are all still at Q102 to this day.
And to think all of this started cause one of the stations that responded made fun of Opie's hair. That one got especially vicious. The boys had to distance themselves from it, while (I think?) Danny read the article detailing the fallout and suppressed his laughter

Jocktober has become one of the more poorly aged bits from ONA. One of the issues with it is that it suffered from what you see in a lot of online drama today. It is fun to dunk on somebody when they actually deserve to be taken down a notch and are assholes. It is a lot less funny when you are trying to start shit with people who never before interacted with you or are relatively normal human beings. You instead come across looking like the aggressor in the situation and are starting drama for no other reason than for content purposes. That one got especially vicious. Jocktober was great when they were riding high and they felt like they could do no wrong. It aged like milk in the desert sun when their show collapsed a lot earlier than most of these lame morning zoo shows, some of which are chugging along today. As odd as it sounds, most of these shows are boring and routine because a big chunk of their audience wants boring and routine. Not everyone is wanting to be the next Howard Stern.Jocktober has become one of the more poorly aged bits from ONA. It isn't like there are absolutely zero funny moments from these segments over the years, but looking back now I just don't find a lot of it to be entertaining. It was especially ironic given how they lectured people on how to put on an entertaining radio show when in real life their own show collapsed due to all the backstage drama and none of them can produce a funny show now and days to save their life.
I think all your points are valid, but I still listen to and enjoy Jocktober. Some were better than others, for sure, but I think they're funny because of how unreasonable and mean O&A and the Pests were. There's an element of absurdity to it that appeals to me. A few Jocktobers were extremely funny. That time Sam tried to Jocktober Big Bob & Mikey, and the whole O&A staff turned on Sam, is some of my favorite audio to this day. When the boys trashed Whoopi Goldberg and she showed up in the studio later was hilarious because you could tell both Opie and Anthony were baby boys who couldn't handle facing their targets. It was also really funny how Sam would torture Opie and Anthony by doing constant fugitive bits and some of their Jocktober victims deserved it, like Carmen's Calls (which I have a particular hatred for as a syndicated bit). Pretty much any radio show that used prepburger deserved it, in my opinion. There was also the time they Jocktobered Humble & Fred, ended up talking to them directly, and realized they actually liked them. Then, of course, there was the Scott Shannon heel turn, which was one of the best moments ever.Jocktober has become one of the more poorly aged bits from ONA. This is quite accurate. The comedians made the show, whether it was The Most Vicious Show Ever with everyone in-studio tearing each other apart, or Louis CK directly asking Donald Rumsfeld if he was an alien lizard who eats human flesh. I still listen to audio of the boys with Patrice talking about movies because their observations are really funny. Those segments hold up the best.TBH the only few things that withstood the test of time were the comedian guests if only to contrast it to how they are and how comedy is in current year plus eleven.
