It's a DOLL, Ro!As easy as it would be to blame Jimmy - the reality is most of the O&A were varying degrees of closeted homos from the very start and I don't think Anthony is any different - although he's 100% a product of the horrible environment he was raised in which is hilarious because Anthony's dad desperately didn't want him to be a queer and look at him now.
Just the way that he talked when he was drunk gave him away.Yeah Anthony always had incredibly faggy mannerisms, it was just harder to detect when you couldn't actually see him that often.
When a guy with a straya accent thinks you sound like a fag, you sound like a FAG.
I guess I can't be your sock because I never found Jimmy funny. He was a disgusting ugly closeted gay pervert who relied way too much on an unfunny stolen jerky boys character Chip and his pedophile impression of Anthony called uncle Paul. For all his problems, Jimmy is funny. Even Opie could be really funny. That's what makes the whole breakup so sad: they could still do something really great if they learned to get along and got some of the Moxie back.
He sucked. Days where other comedians filled in for Jim were my favorite shows. You can actually hear in episodes like when Louis CK is asking Donald Rumsfield if he's a lizard alien that entire show Opie and Anthony are supposed to hate each other at that point but they are getting along swimmingly.
I always noticed that Opie would open up way more and be able to relax when Jimmy wasn't there. I don't think he hates Anthony, I think he hates Jimmy.
I think we would absolutely see a reunion between the two of them but never the three of them.
Even when he was there doing his fake tough guy routine or being infuriatingly clueless when Patrice and Anthony were talking about politics just drug
the show down.
