They probably did understate it a bit, but they took lockdowns very, very seriously and did much better than the US and other countries in stopping the spread. As a result, they were able to reopen better and their economy is doing better. Most of this research gets corporate or government funding. The medical industry has an insane amount of political power, so they're going to use that power to sell vaccines. Government is going to keep testing the waters to see what you'll submit to--remember how 15 days to stop the thread turned into demands for years of lockdowns? If you're scared enough to beta-test a vaccine so these people can make money for their owners, what wouldn't you submit to?

Tell me-- now that they're saying you'll still be able to spread COVID, and nothing will change, why are you so determined that everyone should get a vaccine? They supposedly won't work on the newer strains.

Yes, I never said the vaccine was sterilizing, it's not, it just lessens symptoms, almost NOBODY with the vaccine gets a severe case of covid. And we know it's spread through aerosols and bodily fluids. Who do you think is spreading more, someone with no symptoms because they got the vaccine or someone coughing and sneezing 24/7?

That's why people who aren't taking it now are more likely to put strain on the healthcare systems, more likely to spread it, and all the evidence points towards taking the vaccine to end this nightmare.
