You can't say that the death rate of a virus is the # of deaths of a particular demographic divided by the entire population. That isn't how it works. You need the denominator to be defined first, which in this case, would be the people aged 0-39 in the US who caught covid. Then, from the denominator, you take the numerator. So therefore, your comparison of the # of deaths aged 0-39 to the entire US population, not all of whom are aged 0-39 or have had covid, is laughably inept.
