Not only that, Matt offered to finance an apartment for them when they left and Lex denied his offer. Then she had the gall to tell everyone on that video that Matt and Ryan kicking her and Rav out of the plex made her "homeless" (she wasn't even homeless. She stayed in a hotel and took multiple road trips in her new jeep.) Also didn't Matt have multiple people living at the plex at that time, too? Lex had an income and had more than enough time to save up for a place but instead she bought a jeep.

She's mad because she could no longer mooch off of them. At the plex she and Rav could just sit and smoke weed all day.

Matt and Ryan are far from perfect individuals but this is the second time I've seen one of Matt's friends screw him over after he helps them and gives them a place to stay (Jackson being the first as he lived with Matt for a while when he was unemployed and Matt gave him a job at the plex.) If Matt learns anything from this it'll be that he shouldn't be so quick to offer help to his friends. They'll just use him and screw him over later.

There are still people out there that deny cancel culture exist and it's really just "holding shitty people accountable!" you see it a bunch on twitter. This was one of the most clear cut cases of cancel culture and mob justice I've seen ever.

Tbf I think a lot of people just forgot they were subscribed (me included). Their content has been shit for a long time and this made them more public.

It’s also more proof that terminally online individuals should not have much power over the content creators they like. From what is gathered surrounding SuperMega, they failed to overestimate what it’s like to have a parasocial relationship go wrong.

Of course, they are not the first, but they are also not the last that this will happen to. It’s more blatant now than ever before.

I genuinely don't believe Lex was actually sexually assaulted by Don. The timeline of events by her own account points WAY more heavily towards Don just being an anti-social sperg and them subsequently having an awkward breakup.
I don't think I'd be trying to get the attention of my supposed sexual abuser on Discord, nor would I be taking selfies with them on the beach in a bikini. That's just me though. She was obviously terrified of him, right?
 
Lex is basically mask off at this point. Even still people are afraid to acknowledge that this was never about justice, this was a vendetta against Matt and Ryan. I'm finding it hard to believe that whatever happened with Don even had a traumatic effect on her.

Oh hes the BF, thats where the toxicity comes from. Hes another breadtube type guy Ive been following for a while, call it a personal cow. Hes a clone of Noah Samsen, he constantly streams and makes videos shitting on other people, not in the commentary criticism way but in the smug breadtube "Im better than you cause Im communist" way, tries to use those videos as takedown videos to propel him up the youtube ladder. Lot of people have clowned on him for being a completely fake clout shark who might be a future rapist cause he respecs whamen that much.
 
Fun fact about Ethanisonline (Lex's bf) he once claimed MoistCr1TiKaL was peddling 'far-right talking points' because he made a video mocking some shitty modern art piece. I'm not joking. He's that level of obnoxious.

I'd have more sympathy for Matt and Ryan if they haven't spent the last half a decade courting these kind of people with their posting online. From sucking the BLM cock back in 2020, to demanding everyone get a clot shot, to throwing Oney, Ding Dong and Julien under the bus and claiming they 'made them use slurs'. If Matt and Ryan didn't chase this audience then this accusation would probably be going over way better for them.

It's the same shit that happened to H3H3, Idubbbz, and Egoraptor. Edgy boys who suffer from a hint of troll's remorse and then try everything to make up for their past crimes, by alienating their original audience and trying to get the leftists to follow them instead, all without realizing that eventually they will fail the purity spiral and get ejected.

Oh 100%. They specifically catered and pandered to the hypersensitive woke Tumblr audience that cancelled them. Around 2018-2019 (They disavowed the edgy jokes they made on Oneyplays in a Christmas 2018 episode) they made a major shift on their channel and social media towards being a vocally progressive company. This attracted the exact type of people you would imagine it would. I've seen people on their subreddit unironically use terms like "body shaming" I thought died on Tumblr years ago.

To address the Oneyplays stuff they didn't claim they made them use slurs they said they felt "pressured" to match Oney's edgy style of humor and later regretted doing it which is also total BS. They clearly are laughing and having a great time if you watch those old clips of them on Oney.
