Wayforward loves to hire E Celebs, they had Sphere Hunter do voice work for Clock Tower Rewind, I believe Arin did voice work for River City Girls
Thats why I stopped buying anything from Wayforward. Fuck them for polluting games with their shitty, tired, artsyle. Double fuck them for hiring ecelebs they just wanted to hang out with. Too many companies do that kind of shit already and its nepotism with more steps. All you have to do is get famous enough to make parasocial relationships with people in influential positions, then opportunities practically deliver themselves to you because retards with low social intelligence don't get that the influencers are in fact not their friends, and don't give a shit about you outside of how you can advance their social climb to the end that every influencer wants, being a mainstream celeb.

Lol come on lets be real Jon did that stupid shit to himself so there's no one else to blame, I don't know what the hell he expected to happen when he decided to go debate one of the biggest names in the game at the time using 4chan logic. He practically wiped the floor with himself and nearly destroyed his career for literally no reason it makes no sense.

And of course it's fucking kid gloved and skips literal hours worth of shittiness to make Arin look good in the end. Joon is a sellout, lame. Luckily I know of a tiny youtuber who actually had the balls to completely tear Arin a new one and fully document every known instance of him being a piece of shit through his entire career. I'm not archiving it because it's over 3 hours long but you guys can if you want a copy, this chick deserves loads of views for the time she spent sewer diving just to rip off Arin's good guy mask and spit on it so spread it around and get her sub count up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6bCk1Axt_4&t=4s
Hard disagree. If Jontron posted content regularly instead of once every 5 times the planets align he wouldn't have had any drop in popularity and would be far more massive today. Jontron didn't nearly destroy his career in the Destiny debate. He nearly destroyed his career by no longer making banger music videos and the game reviews of the gods. Had he continued this path he would be allowed to say the rock hard as steel like he's a god damn pirate r. He got lazy and his growth slowed down.

Every friend I've had who moved to LA returned as a massive faggot. Every YouTuber who I've watched over the years who moved to LA turned into a massive faggot. If you think I'm wrong look at someone like IDubbbz, he got more famous, moved from where he was in California to a more central part of LA, and as soon as he started speaking to LA people what happened?
View attachment 5866779

Nobody just magically becomes like IDubbbz did. Now replace everything I said with "EgoRaptor" and you get the exact same fucking story. I literally just blame LA
Chicken and egg. Does LA make you a faggot, or do faggots move to LA to be more open about their lust for cock?

He got lazy and his growth slowed down.
Not sure if he got lazy or if he just took the PewDiePie path i.e., he made his millions and now he just wants to focus on his family and enjoy life. I can respect it, but I miss him terribly (:_(. There wasn't even a Christmas or Halloween video this year :heart-empty:.

I get the feeling JonTron is a bit of a perfectionist and only really likes to put out videos if they're long-term projects that he's completed.

But yeah, creators like him are basically semi-retired, by this point. They don't need to cater to the slop algorithm to make their bread, because they're already living mostly normal lives thanks to the wealth they've accrued in the past.

They also don't spend however much Arin spent on that stupid ass bathroom and retarded office in the middle of LA with a whole team for a simple let's play channel.

Speaking of autism, I did watch the old Bloodborne let's play, and it was weirdly nostalgic. Dan actually seemed engaged, and Arin was competent gameplay-wise. It was also ten fucking years ago, Jesus Christ.

He got lazy and his growth slowed down.
Youre missing an important part, He Craved Fame, then he got lazy and his growth slowed down. A lot of these millennial internet people who craved Hollywood levels of fame ended up getting it briefly and then almost immediately became irrelevant. It happened to the Channel Awesome people, to prozd, to the trash taste guys, to breadtubers, to sargon and yes, to Arin. Nobody would say Oney, Harry Partridge or Jontron are irrelevant, they do their own shit in their bubble and theyre good at it, they never craved fame of any sort. It seems a consistent enough pattern that those on the internet who crave fame would end up getting it and then falling off.

Arin's playing Resident Evil 2 (1998). The first few parts are actually kind of funny. If you're even remotely familiar with the game, you can see what's coming a mile away just from watching the run to the police station. It's still amusing to watch it play out. He blows through health and ammo, softlocks himself a couple of hours in, and starts abusing savestates

Arin's a non-smoker AFAIK, so how did his laugh get so wheezy? Age? Fad diets? L.A. smog?

It might have been half good only for the first name in the list.

Edit: As Highlighted by @Vibralldo below the first iteration was released in 2009. This being a continuation of Idea since then.

This Iteration of the idea has been in production since 2014 (not dedicated) but seemingly ramping up production in 2018
So an 8 year production cycle, It better have been worth all the fun bucks Mr.Grump!

Surprised he's still friends with Arin and ross as he was the first guest grump.

Another surprising one with his connections to Zack would have assumed Arin wouldnt have worked with him. But he is a clout goblin steal what crumbs he can from the hit show man.

Arin voices 2 characters in the show and Ross voices one.

Are you ready for "3000 poopy butts" and a frame rate of 12?

You know I am!

Wrong
The original Gamoverse episode 1 that Ross made himself in flash came out in 2009, 17 years ago

Ross has been holding onto this idea for nearly 2 decades and by god you can tell.

How does the 2009 version have more frames of animation?

Also corrected the information in my post above, I hadn't realised it was a continuation of an idea.

>A play/parody on old Jumpstart/Edutainment games.
Hmm, this could be interesting, and Arin's mediocre animation could actually be useful to get a good, authentic feel
>Just kidding, random action hero cat girl, followed by EXPLOSIONS and VILLANS
>That ending joke

Damn shame, I thought it had potential for a minute.
