While I appreciate the hustle from Mark and love more people speaking out on the Grumps' bullshit: I can't help but get a weird sense of deja vu from this post. ...Hey waitaminute.
I can't tell if it's just a coincidence because it's such an easy joke to make, or if he does actually lurk around here and took that. Probably the former.

I'm not someone that's get's shocked/disturbed by things easily, the clip of the man screaming at that child is far worse than any ISIS or cartel video. Obviously, I've only ever seen what was posted on youtube, and that alone was seriously bone chilling - child exploitation is truly the epitome of evil.
I've never seen such a high consequence ARG before, using literal CP as merely a clue in your grander scheme... you're safer playing Russian Roulette.I always got the impression that Worldcorp. wasn't an underground organization, but rather some individual trying to expose the elite's protection of child predators/traffickers.
ARGs usually end extremely anti-climatically - mostly because they're just stupid game the youtube grifters exploit and hype for more creepy content. In this case, however, it felt like the prize of the game was unearthing something genuinly horrific and unforgivable.
It's a bit dissapointing that Scaretheatre/Nexpo didn't pursue the Podesta route deeper. If I recall correctly, they copped out of it pretty early by saying "pizza gate was debunked, let's move on" or something to that effect. It's understandable to not want to have any association with that calamity, and the Podesta stuff might end up being just a giant red herring, but it does feel like Worldcorp. wanted to lead you down the Podesta route.
I'm not a big fan of conspiracies, but Pizzagate and the Podestas is such a legendary rabbit hole.

The best business decision Arin has made maybe wasn't even his idea, the founding of Game Grumps. I bet you Jon probably asked Arin about doing a show with his friend Barry as an editor just shooting the shit about video games a'la "Continue?" from Jon's former Normal Boots days. Yet when Jon left Arin thought he could keep it running without the main appeal, then Barry left and it's been shit since then.

Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure Game Grumps was Arin's idea and Jon was originally the editor. I believe Barry was just Jon's room-mate or something until they were making enough episodes and money that they needed to hire a dedicated editor.

I don't think that's true. They edited the orginal videos (2016), not the newer "completed" video (2020). They just credited them because it was a compilation of clips they edited.
Pretty sure they just ammicably went their seperate paths - Oney in particular has lots of other projects going on and the LetsPlay channel is probably the most minor/hands off project at the moment. Naturally, they would see each other a lot more when they worked at the same office and now they don't.
Of course, the split with Arin/GameGrumps was definitely less than ammicable, mostly because Arin's a fat cunt.

Normally I’d agree with that but when Best Of’s and Completes are published the original thumbnails with the editor’s personal icon are reused, the compilation’s editors are overlaid with the original’s while not completely obscuring it (ie the series was edited by Ding Dong while Niall put together the best of) Unless it went uncredited (which is weird because they’re very good at making sure they’re given the proper credit) SuperMega put this one together.

I would love for that to be the case but as Negilum said, they edited the original video and that was a long time ago. It’s a possibility since the guests they’ve been having have been changing a lot.
They’re both super busy on their own projects, I don’t think they’d randomly come together for this compilation video. I think it was an honest mistake.

While the Shantae vids were edited a long ass time ago, as far as I know Chris and Ding Dong are at least in contact with Matt and Ryan via Twitter. Or at least Matt, since he's more active there.

After watching the TIHYDPs of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask (not to mention the videos that criticized the Sequelitis about OoT), it gave me a new sense of appreciation for both games.
Needless to say, Arin's reasons for disliking OoT are dumb (the Z-targeting one especially). I don't mind if he just preferred the 2D Zelda games, he could have just said that instead of going on a diatribe about how OoT sucks for dumb reasons.
