The interesting part is that Aron and GG is completely silent about this because that's how they handle everything. Remember when Jared got canceled and they simply removed his videos while pretending he never existed? That's the same thing that he's doing now. Straight up gaslighting the fanbase.

Arin could've removed those videos a long time ago but he didnt. The fact that he waited UNTIL NOW to do it show how he's a coward who doesnt mean it. I am 99% sure the only reason he bothered was because people were straight up bringint that compilation video on his replies. On that same day, suzy would later make a tweet apologizing for saying the n-word.

Since we don't know when Arin will decide to purge more videos, do we want to make more efforts to archive or download all the old-school Game Grumps videos? It sounds like a lot of work, when he probably won't delete most of them, but it's good practice to archive this shit.

We don't need to: a Reddit user named u/Ocelot2033 already got all of the deleted videos/series (at least for Jon Era, Dan's Link to the Past series is yet to be seen) in their highest quality, with thumbnails and descriptions, and has just finished reuploading them as we speak.

EDIT: That doesn't mean we shouldn't bother. Y'know just in case he loses them somehow, but it's more so he just beat us to the punch.

I wouldn't even give her any type of credit. She did her apology 10 years late (muting herself the entire time about it) and only said it so she could ride the BLM hype bus without being thrown off.

It's fucking disgusting that both these idiots keep those things on the DL until someone brings them up for the world to see, especially considering they thought it was okay back then. If the Sir Pelo arc didn't happen last year I fucking assure you Arin would be in so much more shit right now, I'm kind of sad it didn't happen in that way but at least we got two Arin spergouts over just the one.

What makes you say that? I think because the Sr Pelo thing happened that he's in so much shit now. That and the garage sale disaster that was all Brent's fault and still kept his job. All of last year's major fuckups were leading up to the biggest fuckup of them all. And I am enjoying watching this dumpster fire burn. 🚬

When he was asked about that earlier Arin used his canned response from the Sir Pelo arc for a counter arguement and then followed up with the new statement. If the dude didn't make that response before, he'd be scrambling way more since it's just EVERYTHING all at once. Dude has to address the vids while also trying to stay on top of a BLM campaign and it would be so good seeing him try to work around it while all these new people find out about him dropping the N-word in comps.

I mean we're in good storylines with both ways but I'd love to see him freakout even more with new people discovering him through the comps

That's not what happened.
People noticed months before ProJared made his tweet stating his divorce from his wife that the videos with him were taken off the channel. I also think they were taken off before Ross & Holly announced their divorce. Remember, Jared & Holly had a D&D show where their characters were openly married or fuckbuddies. What I think what happened is Ross or someone else caught Jared & Holly & the shitstorm ensued. Now how would Arin help his friend Ross? Take Jared's videos down & then siding with Brent forbidding Ross from playing Harry Potter with Chris & Corey on Oneyplays. To be fair I don't know what I would have done in Arin's place, but I remember watching Chris' art stream around the time when the ProJared scandal happened. He clearly didn't know about it before hand, & he seems to still hold animosity to Jared. This & with Chris' constant shitting on LA elitist, opportunistic, soulless assholes who are fake subhumans are all because of Arin. This is why making fucking Let's Plays super serious business where you need to waste money on office space in LA, where rent is who knows how high, when you can just record it from home is dumb. #Arinknew.

Whilst I definitely think you'll find hypocrisy from Arin in there, the culture on Newgrounds pretty much encouraged reviewers to do what Arin is doing here: being harsh and critical in an utterly unfiltered way. Here's a good part of Sleepycast where they talk about it:
I might be biased cause I did spend a decent chunk of my time as a teen playing Newgrounds games and stuff, but shitting on Arin for participating in Newgrounds culture is like shitting on someone for saying the nigger word on 4chan. If this does reach Arin's ears, he will use it as an example of how he's 'grown' from 'the toxic culture that Newgrounds fostered'.

What actually happened was two kids called Chai and Charlie got thirsty for Game Grumps' attention and messaged them via email telling them that ProJared was demanding nudes from them while they were still minors, and rather than look into or even message Jared they just privated those videos without any explanation

All of this has only further convinced me that Arin is a cowardly, self-serving chickenshit who’s willing to do whatever he can to make himself look good, even if it means throwing friends and colleagues under the bus. I suppose this gives his stage name, Egoraptor, a whole new meaning.

Arin "changed" himself a become a super cool non-racist dude that we all love.
Jon changed and made his content better, but we all hate him because he said a bad thing. The only reason he has all those subs is because they're racists.

Ok I'm testing this out to see how long this will stay up. If it actually does stay up, I'll shell out some sheckles for a premium account.

I created a Mega.nz account to upload the videos on there which I'm still adding stuff to it as I type this out. The way the files will be organized is as follows...
  • Every Series will be ordered by when they first appeared (eg. Kirby Super Star has 001 at the start of it showing it's the first series they worked on)
  • In each series folder will have another folder for separate episodes, and a "complete" video (similar to Oney Plays style) in which all the separate videos are combined. Those "complete" videos are of my making... that Kirby one took 3 hours to process on my computer.
  • In the separate videos folder will not only have the separate videos, but will also have a ZIP of all the videos (so you don't have to download all of them one at a time)
It took me longer to get this out because I also took the time to re-convert the videos to use a proper codec (H.264). For some reason, some of these videos after ripping them have this "Google/On2's VPA Video" codec that on some devices refuse to play nice with (eg. If you're like me who has a Roku and uses the Roku Media Player to play them from a USB Hard Drive)

I'll make a new post that updates my progress, so keep an eye on that link for future additions. If for whatever reason this mega.nz link goes down, I still have the videos saved on my computer,so they won't be gone completely. Unless anyone can think of a better alternative, I'll have to do some research and find something different.
