Yep. Another chapter in the Cliven Bundy saga. Protesters have taken over a Federal building in Oregon, claiming the government is using unfair tactics to try and get them to sell them their farmland. Shit hit the fan when ranchers where arrested for arson. The ranchers claim they where doing it to kill off invasive crops and to prevent wildfires. The protesters think the arrest was the government trying to punish ranchers.

It also allowed the feds to take it easy on them... contrary to popular belief, there's a lot of differences between these fools and the "Black Lives Matter" people -probably the most important being that the Bundy Militia is in the middle of nowhere and they are only hurting themselves.

I haven't been following this story very closely, but, I was surprised that the main movers and shakers of the movement are a bunch of middle-aged guys or older, I expected something this dumb and hot-headed to be the doings of people a lot younger.

Everything I've read about Fry indicates he has nothing going for him -trouble with his folks, no prospects, no sweetheart, and he was acting out for attention long before this (I'm pretty sure his state support for ISIS/ISIL/Daesh/Whatever is just edginess). He's loving this spotlight.

If the Feds somehow decide to give up on him, he's no worse than he was when this began. If he goes to prison, he gets three hots and a cot. If he dies, all the bullshit that is his existence ends.
