Imagine if they didn't have USAID shekels covering their loses (and you know it isn't just them, USAID isn't the be all end all source of propaganda in the world, just one horrid tentacle of a Fink-tier kosher octopus).
We know the French government also pours millions per developer into gaming, and the Canadians likely also do the same.

Can't happen for 2 years after the transaction closes which assuming it is in this year means Tencent can't take over until 2027-onward.
I am morbidly curious to see if the chinks are ready to tighten the screws now, or if they'll let Ubisoft dig their hole even deeper by allowing them to shit out a few more catastrophic disasters.

Thought this post from Kidd Bandit was even more delusional than the usual Ubislop defender post. They legitimately think a ratio will get trannies to become beloved.

1) Move important assets that Tencent wants to subsidiary
2) Sell everything at original company to pay off debts
3) Only majority ownership of subsidiary remains at original company because they are required to hold onto those shares
4) IP rights are now a worthless asset because the subsidiary has exclusive, irrevocable, and perpetual licenses to those IPs
5) Buy original company outright for cheap now that it has been gutted with all the fat trimmed away to pay off debts

Pretty sure that's why Tencent invested 1.16 billion EUR into the subsidiary and not Ubisoft proper.

So many "This is actually a good thing, chuds. Ubisoft won." posts on Twitter right now... very humorous.
That's like saying a gambler won because he made a deal with lone sharks so that he didn't get thrown out of the casino for having no money.

Ubisoft won because they had to put all of their ip's into a brand new company with Tencent being the largest outside shareholder after operating at a loss for years?

What kind of retard logic is that?

I think this is going to bite Tencent in the ass 25% isn't enough. That's 75% ubisoft fucktardery still going on.
Which is a win cause seeing tencent suffer along with ubisoft would make me happy.

Famitsu is out. Shadows sold like shit in Japan.
Every single fucking pinheaded dullard who copes about "console players" needs to be tuned out of every single public conversation going forward. Monster Hunter Wilds has been out for about a month and it can't even beat that.

Knowing what AAA games from The Land of Xinnie the Pooh look like we're gonna have massive whiplash going from wokeslop filled to the brim with ugly mannish women, troons and niggers in a time and setting that makes zero sense, straight to overly masculine musclechuds and goregeous women with massive tits and ass with not even a single nigger or fag in sight in the next AnalCreed game, with the series being set in China in 5 out of 7 of the new games.

So asscreed shadows is such a massive success that, barely 7 days later, Ubislop is being bought out by China :story:
I'm seeing more people talking about that ratio from a few days ago than that. First of all, implying what twiggers think, second it shows that the cattle who supports this game either doesn't care about Ubisoft and supports it for political reasons or they're dumb as shit and actually think this is a good thing, choosing to focus on some tweet since that is apparently more "historical".

Funny thing is that Ubisoft already has history with working with the Chinese. If I recall, Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow was partly developed in China, so I guess the precedent is already there lmfao
