Assassin's Creed thread

Congrats Ubisoft.
You got a lot of people talking about your game.
Not just in the way you wanted it to be.
To think Ubisoft and the kike "historian" could've avoided all of this by just making Niggasuke some NPC that the two Zipangese main characters interacted with (they could've gotten away with the historical revisionism in that case too). But nooooo, they just needed to make an afrocentrist "Asian people in New York" simulator and perform a ChiCom-like rewriting of history on Wikipedia and Britannica by using the "historian's" BNWO fanfiction. Now Ubisoft torpedoed one of their largest markets for their AnalCreed games and (((Thomas Lockley))) got kicked out as a professor and had his research retracted. OH NO NO NO BBCSISTERS WE GOT TOO COCKY :story:

Nioh 1 still has the best interpretation of the guy.

The icing on this shit cake is that despite the recent games all being shit, people would have still bought Shadows because of the setting. This setting was always the "break glass in case of emergency" option they kept in their back pocket for over a decade since they knew everyone wanted it. But no, they had to go and fuck it up with the most blatant propaganda imaginable.

Just like how the self-hating White woman united all men of color against her:

Ubisoft has united all the East Asians (Japan, Korea, China) against Assassin's Creed Shadows. They won't be buying this slop. Not this time at least.

Congraturations Ubisoft.

To me the funniest part of this is if they had just went with a Japanese male protag this probably would have been one of the best selling games of the year and probably the best selling AC since Black Flag. AC fans have been salivating at the thought of a bonafide ninja simulator since the first game dropped and we saw those weird symbols indicating other locations. Even with the shitty RP system and forced fag relationship system it would have been a major entry in the franchise because it would have sold the fantasy people wanted to enjoy.

But nope, Blackrock and Vanguard and other investors DEMANDED they have a token darkie be one of the protags, and Ubisoft hamfistedly pushed this shit and the CRT goons did the enforcement for them. I was starting to feel a sense of disappointment and dread because it was looking like this game would in fact release unblemished and retards would start carrying the NIGGAS WAZ SAMURAI N SHEEEEEIT message further - huge kudos to Japan for being autistic and proud enough to step in and do all this so that we have a solid footing to continue rejecting this niggerwashing of history with solidly investigated facts.

A female ninja is fine too. We know they existed and being behind a pair of child bearing hips works well for the audience of men AND women.

They're probably rewarded with pats on the head and being told that they're good allies of DEI.

That, and it spread enough to get Asmongold's attention. I say let it spread even further.

As they are portrayed sure. Ninjas rarely were as they were portrayed. Male and female shinobi were spies almost exclusively but we pretend otherwise. And to be fair, if an assassin does their job well, their deeds will be lost to history as it is part of the job.
There are shinobi in the narrow sense of the word and in the wide sense of the word. In the narrow sense, only samurai men who went through complete shinobijutsu training were considered "true" shinobi. These would be samurai men from Iga and Koga as they had formal shinobijutsu schools. Along with spying, during the turbulent times of the Warring states they often performed their arts on the battlefield as well, through various acts of irregular warfare - sabotage, night attacks, ambushes, misdirection etc. In the wide sense of the word, anyone who performed any of the arts a shinobi would do and was employed for it was considered a shinobi. A well known example of a shinobi in the wide sense of the word is Fuuma Kotaro, he was never formally trained in Iga or Koga and the clan itself specialized in performing irregular warfare on behalf of the Hojo clan. Apparently they performed no, if any, espionage. Additionally, shinobi from Iga and Koga rarely operated alone and had a lot of helpers doing the wet work, that also included women who could be used to spy and eavesdrop by pretending to be maids and such.

This is garbage. Now apparently some japanese politician is involved? Yes, the game might be shitty but involving the government is bad. Very bad. Idk how powerful this guy is or if he is just a right wing loon with no power. Why are nips allowed to steal from western history and use it how they want but westerners can't? There is so much badly written japanese media involving western history, imagine western politicians sperging out & making laws based on that.

Everyone celebrating politicians getting involved is a fucking retard.

Of course this could also be fake news. I hope it is.
Because unlike the United States of America other countries care about their country's heritage and they don't wanna see it bad mouthing by a bunch of woke morons who don't understand the first thing about Japanese history.
They already have to deal with a bunch of annoying blacks coming over and claiming that all the Japanese were non white
same thing with Egypt a good friend of mine who actually is an egyptologist literally was part of a group of people who banned a large amount of scholars from ever studying in Egypt ever again because they kept claiming all the ancient Egyptians were Africans because it's insulting and disrespectful.

Go to Russia or any part of Eastern Europe and say completely and utterly historically inaccurate things about their countries I wanna see how long it takes you to get your face pounded into the floor.

If America still had balls the 1619 project and everyone who contributed it to it would be in federal prison or being hung as traitors.
To quote a Great American we should listen to communists and read what they have to say and then hang them

Firstly, the series plays fast and loose with realism. Acrobatics, hidden blades etc etc. Landing on top of two gaurds hidden blade first is not accurate or realistic as far as real assassination methods go. Secondly, the assassin order employs women even as assassins. Not frontline fighters mind you but operatives with skill in combat. Thirdly, assassination can be in the form of a poison cup or a knife in the throat of someone sleeping. Maybe have a mission where you do something like that. Lastly, Japan has had warrior women, so the idea is far from new to them. If anything, a shinobi woman performing assassinations through sneak attacks, poison darts, smoke bombs and other unorthodox methods is more realistic than joining the battlefield or fighting with a naginata as the samurai women used to do. Of course, those women where defending their homes rather than fighting in the frontlines but the fact that women are weaker and should rely on "unfair" methods of combat remain. And again, the series, while it used to care about historical accuracy as far as confirmed events went, most characters were people who were supposed to be lost in the shadows of history to provide some writing freedom. A woman assassin makes sense in the AC world.

For those who might not know, now there are reports that suggest that there might be same sex romance options for both Yasuke & Naoe. This is nothing new, Odyssey was the first AC game with romance options & you could romance both female & male characters.

Ubisoft has unironically put buck-breaking in their game. Naoe at least has fictional character privileges to this retardation.

This is still dumb because Assassin's creed, from the out, relies on bloodlines and lineages. unless you're extremely recent corpses, I'm not believing any Ac protag is gay because most don't have the positions to get away with double-dipping and they have to have descendants for the goddamn plot to work.
