Everyone needs to remember one thing - the (((Thomas Lackley))) fanfiction, which provides the revisionist backbone for all current year "Yasuke" products - is still up on wikipedia as though it were historical fact, despite the Japanese themselves debunking it last year. Asscreed Shadows is thus good for one reason, it has been an incredible wake-up tool. A perfect exemplar of how the post-modern Baizuo and their funders use mass media control and historical revisionism to try and mold public perception. I hope some Japanese, at the very least, have been illuminated after this whole debacle about what westerners have been suffering under for generations. If only Europeans defended their cultures as sternly as the Japanese seem to at times...

It can't be for QA reasons, since ubishit has no quality control whatsoever, so what else could cause it? Too many competing titles releasing in nigger month? Voice actors' strike? Couldn't completely remove the nigger from the game?

It's cause "a nigger killing asians during nigger-worship month" would create more negative press than "look at this game with a nigger in it" would create positive press. The two were weighed on a gross Frog-like scale by Ubisoft, and trying to repair damage with asians took precedent over trying to continue to suck off niggers (which is the national pastime of France since the 1700s).

Should have been this case from the start, with Samurai Floyd revealed on release, but they were too smug. My opinion remains that to salvage the game without conceding defeat and cutting Yasuke out completely, players need to play as either Naoe or Yasuke, with no overlap in terms of gameplay appearances- just like in the previous recent Ass Creed games where you chose the main character.

As someone who played the 3 mythology games before trying my hand at Unity, and having my face blown off with how fast, agile and.. assassin-esque it is, this looks good.

As someone who has played almost every game in the franchise, this does not look good. Her animations are incredibly slow and static. You can see as she jarringly slides into place to trigger the pre-rendered cinematic flips and spins to try and make it look dynamic without actually being dynamic. And the buildings are very widely spaced out and population centers seem rare. The parkour still seems to have the bizarre mythology 'weight' to it that slowed down everything in the prior games. And I'd be surprised if basic shit like manual jumps or back ejects are present pre-patch.

The anime sword always gets me. I guess their "history experts" only have theoretical degrees, just like Fantastic in New Vegas is "technically" a theoretical physicist. Some weebs got hired on as historical experts because Ubisoft can't be bothered to see if they have any actual knowledge under their belt, and so they write what they know: Anime.
You can't make this shit up. If this is deliberate, I thank whoever is actively sabotaging Ubisoft

I know people are saying this online but yes multiple entertainment products have released on March 20th in Japan and this does include Animal Crossing new Horizons and Doom Eternal which was on the 25th anniversary of the sarin gas attack. There's a few big differences though.

None of these games were as politically charged and actively antagonistic towards Japanese culture. Where you play as a nigger going around killing asians. Where you have a white historical "expert" rewriting Yasuke's history to make him way more important than he actually was. Assassin's creed has always had a person of an ethnic background match the setting they were in. Ezio is Italian. The game is set in the Italian Renaissance. Even with their most recent game they had a Nordic Viking and the game was set in 9th century England and Norway. Even with all the bullshit DEI nonsense they had in the game where they just happened to have black Vikings running around they still chose to keep the main character what they should be. Their ethnicity should match the setting for historical accuracy's sake.

With this game they decide to throw all that out the window though and actively start undermining Japanese culture with no regard to historical accuracy at all. Chinese architecture, achronistic inaccuracies, all while touting that everything is perfect and this is intended. Meanwhile the more gameplay they show, the more it looks like this game is going to be another IGN 7. If they're lucky.

They've had several major controversies already. The Torii gate thing was extremely disrespectful, and something they should have seen coming from the concept stage. The fact that the toy made it to production is crazy.

So them deciding to release the game on March 20th, the day of one of the most major terror attacks in Japanese history after antagonizing Japanese culture the last year and a half?

Well that New Vegas analogy is actually spot on considering that their history expert's actual focus is on pederasty among Feudal monks. So yes, this game is a collaboration between a Japanese pedo fujoshi and a morbidly obese liberal white woman fixated on BLM. There is a very real possibility they're going to put Yasuke in a fag relationship and knowing their "historian", it could be with a younger Japanese male.

that's assuming anyone gives a shit. remember race-grifters get hired based on saying the right things, not based on merit or knowledge, so when possibly issues come up they don't even consider those (like looking up "samurai sword" on google and pick the first result or the one that looks nice, what could be wrong with that?).
and even if they do it doesn't matter since they're obviously the experts and they know better than anyone. introspection isn't part of the playbook, they gonna double and triple down. they're on the right side of history after all.
