At least 64 dead after ATR-72 flown by Yeti Airlines crashes near central Nepal - Crashed near the second largest city, Pokhara.

I think when it comes to Nepal, if you hear plane crash, or helicopter crash, assume at least 80% dead. And I wish I was kidding.
A lot of it has to do with favorite locations being places like the Tenzing-Hillary airport, often regarded as the most dangerous approach in the world, where you land if you're heading to the base camp. The actual base camp trek itself is probably safer than the airport.

The official report on this came out and it was determined to be pilot error. The crew feathered the engines by accident resulting in a loss of thrust, they also failed to maintain a sterile cockpit, follow SOP, non-standard approach and contributing was a high workload due to this being a new airport.

But, more interesting it seems 4 months ago someone leaked what seems to be a real recording of the aircrafts cockpit voice recorder.
