At what point did Chris finally snap?

The big thing that made him snap was also the biggest fail by the trolls.

Around there-ish is when he turned from child-like and harmless to more dangerous. First time he actually assaulted someone out of malice.

Think about it: that video is just a tiny slice of life. You can't assume it captured some sort of breaking point, because we don't have any evidence to prove that he was a reasonable person prior. In fact, we have plenty of evidence to the contrary: from what we've gathered, his childhood was filled with explosive tantrums and familial fights against babysitters, school districts, and who knows who else? The indignation and entitlement on display in the Song of Christian video doesn't seem to be new or novel. I mean, the video isn't even focused on his rage. It's just a bizarre post script, after which he lets out a big sigh and then cheerily switches back to the pretense of hosting a TV show. Seems like business as usual.

He was immensely proud of his feeble accomplishments and was absolutely irate that anyone would question or criticize them. That sort of attitude and worldview does not develop overnight. Song of Christian represents exactly how he was born and raised, and how he has remained ever since. No snapping required; just some shitty parenting stacked on top of a socially impaired neurology.

I'm more reffering to a break with reality. The bizarre assumption that video will get out there due to fame or fortune coming his way. But then I think you're right, cause a lot of teens think this way(adolescent egocentricity). Maybe Chris always was insane. He was born on 10

I'd call hitting someone with a car and then defaming him as a child molesting Jew malicious.
 
I think the asperchu saga and having to kill simonla is what broke him. He was never the same after that. It was the first time something out of his control intruded in on cwcville which might as well be even more real than reality is to Chris. It hit him at his vulnerable core.
 
I think that the abusive babysitter was the point in which Chris could no longer cope with his external environment
 
That's like asking why grass is green. Chris was always latently insane, the conditions he lives in just happen to bring out that side of him.
 
I don't think there was a single moment he "snapped". The BlueSpike incident was probably a point of no return though. Bob's death was another bigger one. I guess him discovering the ED article and posting shecameforcwk.jpeg is another candidate. Though that was probably less him snapping and more just us getting a look at the real Chris for the first time.

It could be argued that his entire life (at least after being discovered by the internet) has been a series of small snaps. Especially after PVCC since it seems like Bob gave up on him after that.

Let alone anything having to do with the internet was his undoing.

I don't think Chris has ever snapped. There is no event in his life I could think of that would constitute some major emotional breakdown for him. I know he babbles about "stressful torture" a lot, but he does it so often it's basically become his default mode of functioning. I think The Final Snap is yet to come and it will probably happpen some time after Barb passes away.
 
Chris tends to snap multiple times. By snap, I mean 'to break apart and reform into something else, different than before'. I think the one which made him change the most had to be during the height of the 'fake heartsweet' era, when he danced around his room and made a Donald Duck impression whilst completely undressed.
