Or does a Reiner and transfer his conscious to the rest of his nervous system.I don't think Erin is actually dead. I bet it's going to be some ass pull using the warhammer titan's power.

Not gonna lie, if this happens I might just forgive Isayama for everything he has done.
How so?Just saw the preview for the next English episode of the anime. Compared to the manga it looks really bad..
To be fair I can't really say. It just seems off. It's the scene were dude's wife gets stabbed with the serum and then kicked off the walls. The voices definitely aren't what I had expected except for I guess the Marley guy. The designs are a bit off model too at least in the scene they're showing. How so?
I remember reading somewhere that the series might be changing animation studios, so that might be it. As for the voices, well, can't say much there. AoT has always had a rather hit-or-miss English Dub. It either sounds really good, or really bad. Bryce Papenbrooke as Eren is the best example of this. He's either amazing, or sounds like he's trying way too hard. There is no in-between with him.To be fair I can't really say. It just seems off. I don't remotely think he's trying to make both sides equal in terms of the actual head honcho goals, I think he's trying to point out that killing all of Marley is terrible, and blaming the common populace is the same as calling all Eldians devils. You do remember the shit the Eldians pulled for hundreds of years before the story began, right? Eren himself believes every human is free and every human deserves to live, that's the main theme of the manga. No matter your past, no matter what your people did, you deserve to be alive. He tossed aside that belief when he killed innocents, and probably some part of him hates that he did that.Typically I'm pretty good at seeing the angles of a story and where they're going to go. The problem here is, this doesn't make sense from a story-telling perspective. Its a bad decision all around. I do realize Isayama loves his fake-outs and cliff-hangers, but this is another level.
Also I'll never sympathize with KoM. They're Nazis and colonizers who put their enemies in a concentration camp. Its rather black and white. Paradis is a concentration camp for people who don't even know what they did. Eren did a Dresden like the allies did in WWII. It doesn't make the cause of the allies any less righteous. We also firebombed the ever living fuck out of Japan. Its always black and white to me, because I'm not going to sympathize with a Kingdom that has their own little private concentration camp and turns their enemies into Titans to torture them. And if they wake up to that realization, they will be genocided. They're fated to slowly die through starvation and being devoured alive. There's no nuance here. KoM has done things worse than its conquerors by a longshot. And yeah, kill Marley because they want to murder your entire population.
Isayama's attempt to make 'both sides equal' has been a total, laughable fucking failure in my eyes. One surprise attack on civilians doesn't equal centuries of genocide and horrific death and oppression.
I thought I recognized the art style. This is the same guy as The Flowers of Evil, right? I love that manga but if people hate AoT for being a pseudo-intellectual series they should see a lot of reaction to TFoE.Quick PS: If you want a truly scary manga, by the way, check out A Trail of Blood. It is positively frightening because there's nothing fantasy about it. It is just the story of a boy... and his psychopathic, overbearing mom.

I just read the chapter and this wasn't indicated anywhere, unless I missed something.Grisha had Mikasa's parents killed so Eren could have a perma body guard. Shit is just getting even more fucking stupid now.
Fake memories
I think the notion of fake memories would've been cool
I really hoped the entirety of chapter 119 was all made up in some kind of mass delusion inflicted on the people within the walls to unite them and drive up requirement and a counterattack for an attack that never actually happened.
It'd explain a lot of the inconsistencies in chapter 119 too.
