Back in my day accusing a fat person of having clothes made of curtains and bedsheets was the penultimate insult. The ultimate insult was a yo mama joke.Cutting off a t shirt is now "upcycling"
Plussizeupcycling on ig has a person who posts all these ugly, misshapen tops made out of curtains, jeans and bedlinen. This person has never seen a sewing pattern before.

Anyone under a bmi of 30 is going to have that thing falling down their shoulders. Deathfat sized clothes have necklines that rival healthy women's bust and hip measurements because they're so fucking huge. Look at how they barely fit on the hangers. Not to mention that shit is fucking ugly. What's funny is I can imagine someone with a little more fashion sense and accessorizing could probably make the bottom one look kinda neat. The silhouette could look promising on someone who has a smaller build and enough charisma. It's unfortunate to know that it won't reach its full potential.
I have an aunt that does some decent hats for kiddos, and I think maybe a sweater or two for some adults.Crochet clothing items like dresses and pants look cute on babies and toddlers
I can appreciate the work and skill that must go into making something like this but the dark green top of the woman with the short hairstyle makes her breasts look like weird googly eyes.I just find it funny that that 70s trend has returned
How long until paper dresses make a comeback?
(This is a joke I know half of the fun of crochet is doing it yourself)
