Idk, I think a case could easily be made for being caught up towards the front of a crowd, and having to keep moving forward to avoid getting trampled by everyone coming up behind you. that even just the fear of such happening to oneself could cause one to just keep moving ahead to avoid such a fate. I know that it must've been foremost in the mind of many of the boomers in the crowd. Look how heavy and publicized a tragedy that was for them.
As far as any deaths, of course anyone directly involved in them should be held responsible, including the Capitol Police. I'm actually shocked that this is the first major police killing of a minority this year and there's no media outcry at all. Shame on them.

In fairness to Arizona and the judge and DA assigned to the case, Baked is still only charged with misdemeanors, and due to covid not only does it make the decision to physically arrest or lock someone up more weighty, it could also provide Baked with the plausible deniability he needs to avoid anything harsher than the 3k he had to pay for bail, whether he said he thought he wouldn't need to be an extra body in court considering his lawyer was there to represent him, or he thought it was going to be handled via teleconference. The covid has all types of legal stuff up in the air and being done ways unthought of before. I imagine the Arizona court authorities involved may have also thought they were giving the fed government an assist at, only to find out from them that this is indeed the Year of YOBA, after which they said "fuck it"

Im not sure if some states are disregarding violent offenses for covid seems kind of crazy if they are. I thought the leniency was reserved for minor non-violent crimes.

Baked 's charges were only misdemeanor charges. There's two tiers of crimes charges you can get - felonies (the serious ones that you can face prison time for & fuck your life up) and misdemeanors (the usually not too serious at all ones that you usually pay a fine at worse and can forget about ever effecting you in a negative way again, though I imagine they'd be harsher for violent misdemeanors). The only time misdemeanors would usually get you locked up is if you have`a serious criminal record already, which it's a miracle Baked doesn't have any record at all prior to all this tbh
