Is the trans-Barbie supposed to be a commentary on a Ken that put on a wig and makeup so they could do what the Barbies were doing?

I'm a sucker for elaborate set designs so seeing Barbieland was entirely worth any problems I had with the movie. Also the fact that the biggest highlight of this movie and all the most memorable scenes are from Ken make it the best feminist movie in recent memory. Even when it's ALL about women and empowerment (in the most pandering and Feminism Lite way possible), Ken is still the fur coated gem that shines and is all anyone cares about

I wonder how the retarded writers are taking this and how long till articles about how Ken is more dangerous than the joker come out.

Someone should do a serious dissertation/analysis on the effect of literally me/unintended reverse propaganda because its all incredibly fascinating.

Ranging from individual characters like Joker, Rorschach, Patrick Bateman, The taxi driver from taxi driver and the driver from drive, entire properties with bioshock, fight club, starship troopers, or in some cases even literal propaganda.

Liberty Prime was meant to be a parody but people earnestly cheer him on. Same for keep your rifle by your side (and ofc starship troopers).

Is society truly so divided that people can literally look at the same character and see night and day? Not only that, but stuff that are meant to be earnest insults don't even register as such and are instead viewed as unironic compliments.
We've had a number of these done already with regards to "sigma" males and whatnow. But here's one:

There’s people on Twitter utterly furious that the most loved character in their “feminist Barbie” movie is Ken and I find that hilarious.
I find it absolutely incredible that these feminist writers come into Hollywood and write these boss female figures only for the audience to sympathize and pay attention to the male characters more.

I mentioned House of the Dragon earlier, but you can actually go back to something like High Guardian Spice or even the Star Wars sequels to see that despite all the girl power aura within these works, the most interesting or sympathetic, or at least the least insufferable, are the men.

The lack of self-awareness when scripting this stuff out is hilarious. Keep doing it.

So similar to how Rorschach was supposed to be written in Watchmen as a bigoted extremist by Alan Moore, but instead comes off as far more relatable and realistic than many of the other characters in the comic/film?
Frankly, I always thought this was Moore being too much of a coward to defend his own work rather than a failure of his writing. Watchmen is so well written with so much care put into the world and characters but somehow Rorschach fell through the cracks? I don't buy it.

I particularly don't buy it because Moore himself was such a big fan of Ditko that it seems rather strange to make a character solely to mock and ridicule him and his characters. It makes a lot more sense that Moore is simply doing lip service to his faggot comic book peers. He's a commie who is friends with other limp wristed, intolerant commies.

It is a parody and an homage at the same time. And yes, Moore admired Ditko, even though he found his politics ridiculous (which they were as he was a literal Randroid).

Much like Moore himself, Ditko was a brilliant oddball with eccentric beliefs, at odds with most of the industry he contributed to.

Do we have any examples of Female characters that fit the same arc?

“I’M A BARBIE GIRL, IN A BARBIE WORLD”

Cartoon published 07/25/2023

As far as summer blockbusters go, “Indiana Jones” just got beat up by a doll dressed in pink. That’s right—the “Barbie” movie has become the hit of the summer.

“Come on Barbie, let’s go party!”

Hollywood was desperate for a win this summer, and thanks to a viral TikTok campaign, Barbie had an impressive opening weekend. Twelve year-old girls and their mothers flocked to the theater to escape the heat and see Barbie give Ken, her plastic boyfriend, the cold shoulder.

Barbie always had a ‘problematic’ side according to the feminists. How dare little girls cherish a doll that they could accessorize with endless fashion outfits and multiple careers? Lawyer Barbie, Doctor Barbie, Marine Biologist Barbie…Barbie could be and do anything imaginable. What’s wrong with that?

It’s boring, that’s what! Woke Hollywood wanted a completely revamped Barbie for 2023.

So now we have Antifa Barbie, Depressed Barbie, Stripper Barbie, Eating Disorder Barbie, and of course, Trans Barbie, who makes a special appearance in the “Barbie” Movie. Can’t have a hit movie these days without some rainbow and trans-whatever propaganda shoved into it.

We almost forgot, Abortionist Barbie. The movie cleverly sticks that nugget in with a scene of little girls bashing their baby doll’s heads into rocks, singing ‘we don’t have to be mothers anymore.’ Subtle.

And sick.

We don’t want to give away any spoilers, but we don’t think our audience is going to flock to see this pink nightmare (sorry Ralphie). However, you can be sure the normies will.

The “Barbie” movie is one long TikTok video of the pink police state saying all men are bad. There, I just saved you $15 dollars.

You’re welcome.

To me this was the most offensive part of the film; the whole "You can be anything" slogan should really read "You can be anything we, enlightened feminists, say you can, except motherhood is not something you should want to be". And the afore-mentioned revisionism regarding the creation of Barbie itself.

Their recent marketing with their one legged fat hairless dolls was just off putting. I have only bought modern Barbies as gifts and none of them were the woke gay dolls, they were mermaids, changed color in water and the ones with animal costumes. I think a lot of women went to see the movie because of nostalgia and the "Barbie!' marketing. If you go to the Amazon page for any of the movie Ken dolls women are posting images of them with Barbie, like this:

Not as a strong independent stand alone Barbie, because what Gosling says is true-its always Barbie and Ken. Feminists have always hated this doll. The average woman into them isn't a feminist, I think the messaging is aimed at little girls, which is very insidious and cruel. The part where the goblina tells the Barbies the way to get Barbie world back is to manipulate and cocktease the men is extremely offensive. Its lazy writing because that's where they should have convinced the Kens they should share the world with logic and facts. Barbies/Kens don't have genitals and its a huge part of the plot so sex should not even figure into it, except for laughs in the real world scenes. If I were the parent of a young girl I would not want her to watch it and have the idea implanted in her impressionable brain the way to advance in the world is to use sex, lies and deceit to accomplish your goals. That's extremely antifeminist but that's where this sharmuta director went.

The main message I see from this film that I haven't seen and will not see is if you care about it, and are mad about it, you are a massive homosexual. You are seriously gayer than Milo.
Lol, why the fuck do you care so much about who sees or talks about this movie?
Because you're lolcows? Lolcows are funny.

lmao
also
lol calm down
NO U.

You are literally mad about a movie for little girls about a doll for little girls.

If you are seriously claiming this isn't more autistic and gay than flipping out about My Little Pony, then guess what? You're gay. And probably autistic on top of that.
