Fucking Jake Arrieta man. He's taken no-hitters past the seventh his past two starts. He might win the Cy Young for a last place team with his sub 2.00 ERA
Yeah, question is, what kind of shape he's he going to be in when he comes back? But all in all it's good news, I really like Scutaro and I have faith in him having one or two more good seasons
>That feel when you don't have to look at the Wild Card standings to see how far back your team is.
>That feel when people are seriously talking playoffs for your team.
>That feel when people no longer talk about your team winning the World Series in the same tone when talking about pigs flying.
Somewhat, if only because L.A. is getting absolutely hammered by injuries right now. The Giants' inability to beat teams over .500 is a major concern, though.
I think the Giants need to play for the division, settling for the wildcard when youre 3.5 games from first place on your division its kinda dangerous, as it can give players an excuse to not perform at 100%. As far as not being able to beat teams above 500., I think its mostly a team chemistry thing, I´m not entirely sure but it seems that most of the "main" players are all back on the roster, if they manage to get the spark back before September, I say theres a big chance for taking the division. However, the Dodgers did something I thought was impossible, they signed even more stars, the amount of talent they have right now is insane so winning the division agaisnt them is going to be pretty hard
I do like that they have six games head-to-head in September. Whichever team wins the division will pretty much have to beat up on the other to get it.
