Someone pointed out that in Redsec you can run up to a tank and put a thermite charge on it for any class, it does damage to everyone inside it which in theory should force them out of the vehicle

that's pretty neat.

A minor note, but Pax Armata also received a new faction featuring a male Support character for Season 1, so now Support isn't a female-only class. Nothing new for NATO though from what I've seen.
PAX has a male support already, not counting the newest non-class exclusive skins. It's just that he's extremely African. NATO is still female supports only.

I don't even think Battlefield's TTK works with battle royale. Again, you die in seconds. This could work in large scale battles, not last man standing conflicts.

im pretty sure the SCW-10 is the biggest skill check in the game right now, either that or weapon bloom lol
If you can isolate enemies and be smart with your positioning, then you have a 3-shot ttk at your disposal, you just can't be as hyper-aggressive as you can with other guns in the game. I'm not even sure ext. mags are worth the extra points cost

Okay, I found the bot BR mode in Training Grounds. While easier than the main BR mode, it’s still not for me in general because of the punishing, tense gameplay loop of dying and redeployment. I had a couple close games that left me unsatisfied.

The TTK is much longer in Battle Royale because of the armour plates. You can't get those in the main game, and thank fuck you can't.

I wouldn't venture into the BR mode if I didn't have my mates around to play as well. It's not my style of game, and comparatively I played Warzone for less than a few hours before arriving at the same conclusion.

It's the game mode where you spend 15 minutes slowly gathering equipment and weapons so that you can sprinkle it on the floor after a 10-second firefight.

I thought this is how it already worked but I might've gotten lucky with my rerolls. Why don't they have weekly challenge paths for both RedSec and the normal game? People would probably bitch about that being unfair and P2W or something.
They probably weren't expecting the playerbase to flip their shit over redsec only challenges like they did.

Hella retarded of them.
Very true, but at least to me, I haven't seen a big issue, but maybe the challenges are all random, which is why the challenge issues have varied from person to person. These are all my current week one missions, with none of them being rerolled. So far I've only gotten 3 battle royale mode challenges, not counting the bonus mission which i guess is also a br one and can't be rerolled. I enjoy the BR though so maybe it's more apocalyptic for people who don't.

Hella retarded of them.

Whilst I can understand people wanting to just receive challenges for certain game modes, I think the other modes are fine as long as the challenges are reasonable. It's only a hindrance if the game mode is dead like 2042's Hazard Zone was since launch.

I think this Battlefield might be the most ambitious in terms of available game modes, and I like it.

Give me my top hats, but getting banned 3 weeks after the refund period for offending people as well as their treatment of Portal has left a cringe inducing taste in my mouth and it isn't just me:

The game was fun and I don't regret my purchase, but I just can't play modern pvp shooters. If an open mic console mouthbreathing nigger is lecturing me on what I should do, I should be able to hope on mic and tell him to get off EBT. If I can't do that and mute everyone and turn off chat, I'm basically playing single player with advanced bots,

I've been playing since launch so I'll stop and catch up on my backlog so I don't get burnt out and maybe I'll be back for Christmas.

I've been playing for 3 weeks straight anyway so I'll stop and catch up on my backlog so I don't get burnt out and maybe I'll be back for Christmas.

I really don't understand why you're surprised that game companies that have been doing mass censorship in their games continue to do it even after Trump "Killed" Woke. It's going to take decades to unfuck our culture from the raping it's been taking since the 60s. Most modern games, in general, have retarded censorship going on in their chat services. I understand wanting to call a nigger a nigger, but doing so and then being surprised or annoyed when you're banned when they've been doing this for two decades is some retarded shit.

Finally got around to unlocking the Glock; this might become my favorite non-revolver pistol, though I am bummed there's no full auto attachment for it. it feels very accurate and just in general nice to shoot.

It's also retard gorilla nigger behavior to preorder video games or buy them within the first 3 months of launch, but 90% of the people in this thread (including me and you) still did it anyways.

EA's marketing team deserves a raise, they got some people to lighten up to DICE after 3 shit games in a row and now some of these people are going through the 5 stages of grief slowly all over again. Even I'm still 50/50 on this game at times.

Well Played. I'm done shitting up the thread, have fun.

Nah, retard gorilla nigger behaviour is not getting a PS5 before it runs out of stock, so you pay 3x the normal price to a scalper for no games.

Preorders are less valuable now that you're no longer receiving a physical disk with the game on it (which ironically, this game allegedly does give you), though just reserving an order is better than buying the $200 Ultra Combo Turbo Edition that is the fashion nowadays. I think the last one of those that I thought was worth the purchase was Halo Reach.

I haven't really had any doubts about enjoying this game personally, and having been through the launches of Battlefields 3, 4 and 1, I can say this one has probably been the best experience except for maybe 3. In both cases the community was replete with screeching harpies for a fanbase, yet surely enough people look back on BF3 fondly in spite all of the negativity that transpired at the time. I expect 6 to be no different if it continues along its current trajectory.

The dev team responding as rapidly as they have may have tipped the balance favorably for them in my book. Remember that BFV's launch response was DICE holding a private function where they basically said they were on the right side of history and all the chuds would lose. I also say this from the perspective of playing Street Fighter VI at launch - a game that similarly followed on the heels of a more divisive predecessor - and the feedback from the devs was no major balance changes for a year, buy the Season 1 pass and the $25 Ninja Turtle collab skins they worked so hard to charge you for. The difference in attitude between them and this has been like night and day (but for how long remains to be seen).
